Them losing it at Wembley in front of their paltry following was just so funny. To use the modern expression, the Tin Man really got in their heads that day.

I'd forgotten that self awarded title and I shouldn't have done given I always referred to them at the time as the Unfriendly Club.

I recall writing ahead of our last visit that we should give them a farewell wave given that they were just about relegated. Amazingly, it happened, around ten minutes from the end as all the Burnley fans in the stand rose to give them the wave.

Bellis, the instigator of so much of the ridiculous rivalry that they created, is now the club president.

Think Burnley fans have been in all 4 sides of the ground at different points (but like Preston. Certainly remember being behind both goals and in the stand opposite the cameras in different games. I missed the game last time we played them.
To be fair I’ve been there when Burnley fans have been on all 4 sides of the ground on 1 night.

Related to Harwood Bellis who did so well for us for a season.

Along with Robbie, my favourite player of recent decades. Brilliant header of the ball.

Charlton beat Wycombe 1-0 so it's them v Orient. Also, Nathan Jones is a clown

Bizarre pitchside antics from him at the end. If he carries on like that he’s going to end up with a heart attack. Quite a contrast to Dyche’s touchline demeanour.

Will never forget that bloke, who was obviously a board member or director of Stockport, not even having the grace to watch, as John Pender lifted the Play Off trophy at Wembley. Utter clown, who in 10 seconds, summed up Stockport County. Absolute nothing club.
It was hilarious when they took advertising space in the MEN, basically begging United and City fans to get to Wembley to cheer them on. Pathetic

Does Jones not realise they have another match to play before they've won anything? Weird.
Having said that Charlton are a very big club who have been through the mill for a number of years under several daft owners and it's good to see them (possibly?) coming back.

Didn't bother with the game but seen the goal on sky sports news this morning and Jones' performance.

Not in the least bit surprised at Jones making it all about him but his attention seeking performance on the touchline was weird even by his standards
