Plymouth manager

Bailed on them 4 months into a long term deal - sounds like he's off to Schalke! Can't really blame him

Always a strange appointment but potential is there given a manager with a proven UK track record.

They’ve been active in the transfer market too already. Seems they’ve been caught out with this one.

Muslić did a reasonable job given the hand he was given.

With all due respect to Plymouth, it's difficult to turn down Schalke.

Did a fantastic job at Argyle, think he'd have had them top half if it wasn't for the circus before him.

Schalke are the second or third most well-supported club in Germany, they're absolutely enormous. Possibly the biggest sleeping giant in European football. Nigh on impossible to turn down the opportunity to be the man to take them back to the Bundesliga.

This is like a Netflix remake of the Vinny to Bayern saga.

They get over 60,000 on their ground in the second tier. Incredible record in the first part of the 20th century. Even as recent as the early 2000s they were sniffing around a league winners medal.

Neuer
Ozil
Moller
Rakitic
Asamoah
Nemec
Raul

Loads of pretty amazing players have pulled their shirt on fairly recently. It's not really surprising he's made the move!
