I have no doubt there were games when we played better football, but in terms of game magnitude and management, nothing comes close.

Not surprised, and a great test for our team-to win when it really mattered, and do it convincingly

Re: ARTICLE: Blades win is best home performance
It wasn't a game I initially considered but it was a key game, we were significantly better than the third best team in the division. Sean Dyche always used to talk about the promotion clincher against Wigan in 2014 as one of our best performances. To play so well when the prize for winning the game is promotion makes it special.

Fair enough, was a great game, a bit nervy for me!
I went for Bristol City, glad that got a few votes, I thought that was the most comfortable game I watched all season

I went for Bristol City as well. We should have scored a lot more.HitchinClaret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 5:54 pmFair enough, was a great game, a bit nervy for me!

You’ve just posted exactly why it wasn’t our best performance.
Taking your chances is an important part of the game
Could easily have scored 5, but lucky to get all 3 points in the end as Bristol missed a pretty easy chance with last kick of the game,

It wasn’t a pretty easy chance by any stretch of the imagination.

Ok- it was good chance and I reckon in the PL it’s a goalBordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 7:02 pmIt wasn’t a pretty easy chance by any stretch of imagination.
But irrespective- we should have been out of sight long before then.
