Some nice shirts there. What are the ufcb logos though? I know what ufcb is. But I don’t recall them being on the kit.
Nice collection. Did he work at the club?

That Macdonald shirt isn’t new. I once saw someone wearing it in the Rose and Thistle at half time.

£40 for a Brian Easton shirt
Signing the player for £40 was too high let alone his shirt

Re: Burnley shirts for sale
Whilst I agree he's not a sought after name, there is a big difference between "Match Issue" and standard replica shirts - £40 for a match issue shirt of any decent club isn't bad value.claretonthecoast1882 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 8:38 am£40 for a Brian Easton shirt

Whiffa is right about there being a difference between Match Issue and Standard Replica shirts for the major clubs, although this is not the case with our old Puma shirts. All Puma kits were through bought through their UK franchisee (Genesis) and then distributed to the relevant departments i.e. First Team, Youth & Retail, so there was no difference between what you'd wear in the stands and what Brian Easton would wear on the bench.

Man City are selling two different versions of their 2025/26 home shirt. It’s £85 for the standard shirt but £130 for the authentic shirt although the added bonus for the authentic shirt is that it comes in a box wrapped in tissue paper.sjb3006 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 9:38 amWhiffa is right about there being a difference between Match Issue and Standard Replica shirts for the major clubs, although this is not the case with our old Puma shirts. Its scandalous. And yet theyre getting away with it. I feel for the parents and kids! It used to be one home shirt and an away shirt. They were about $25-40 and they lasted 2-3 seasons!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 9:50 amMan City are selling two different versions of their 2025/26 home shirt. Now they have three kits. Three keeper kits. A limited edition / special occasion shirt. Club fonts. League fonts. Player issue. Fan issue.
And all for a polyester kit made in Taiwan.
No wonder people are buying the knock offs. And good luck to them!

They were the ‘back of the shirt’ sponsor for the 2011 season.

Match shirt replicas also have the added bonus of making the everyday person look pretty fat due to their cut being designed for professional athletes.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 9:50 amMan City are selling two different versions of their 2025/26 home shirt. Re: Burnley shirts for sale

What probably pushed it is the business that surrounds “vintage” shirts these days. Clubs want to now make just as much from brand new shirts.CyrilEbokiPoh wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 9:57 amIts scandalous. And yet theyre getting away with it. I feel for the parents and kids!
