Tom Heaton was relegated with Bristol City and saved a penalty from Grezza at the Turf in one of his last games for them before signing for Burnley

I wonder if Hladky is being let go then? We already have Etienne Green as third choice.

No, he didn’t. David James was in goal for the Grezza pen miss.

Heaton played at the Turf in the 3-1 defeat of Bristol City just before he signed.

Edale was in the shakiest/non existent, defence, ever seen! A Parker defence is organised and deemed important.

Matt Williams was interviewed on SSN this afternoon and said that we are very close to signing a couple of players fwiw.

Also mentioned that we are interested in a few players that haven't been made public.

I believe Matt Williams was at the fixture launch this morning. Was anybody there and what did he have to say? He normally has a few bits of transfer info.
He said that we had made Brownhill 2 further offers and was waiting for him now
We had signed a player in the first window but thats come to a halt because of a former agent demanding a 5% cut
A player who has been out on loan the last 2 seasons was almost sold but that fell through because it was an Israeli club (im guessing Churlinov?)
Scott Parker wants to get a look at Ekdal preseason

The compare did make a joke about a player threatening Matt Williams with physical voilence as well which was brushed over quickly

If we're still waiting on Brownhill, as per Williams, then it doesn't sound particularly positive as to his desire to stay. He is of course quite within his rights to keep shopping around for a better offer, but this is our captain and in a crucial area of the pitch. I hope our desire to keep him has an expiry date because if he isn't staying you'd think his replacement is priority number one.

You’d imagine the keeper and Lazio winger should be the few close to signing. Although a report out of Italy suggested it might not be as advanced as initially thought.

You mean this rumour that the above poster, who happened to be at a talk with Williams today (yes it does exist, wow!!), has alluded to:

We already have a link with Karlsruher SC through our former striker Rouwen Hennings, I can't believe that was ten years ago.

I know a lot on here won’t like hearing it but Leeds have the potential to be a top half club in a couple of seasons, bit like Villa and Forest.
