Re: Tresor
For anyone else who had no idea what the reference was...(I still don't understand tbh)
"Baile inolvidable" translates to "unforgettable dance" in Spanish. It's a phrase used by Bad Bunny in his song of the same name as a metaphor for a past love that deeply impacted him. The song uses the "baile inolvidable" as a symbol of a fleeting but impactful connection, a love story that didn't last but left a lasting impression

Re: Tresor
Laproscopic surgery scars along with the one down his stomach. Big surgery there.
Looks like he is on the mend, all being well.

Re: Tresor
Looks like he’s been through it. The club have obviously respected his wishes not to go public which is great. We need to move on and get behind him now.

Re: Tresor
That's some serious surgery. I really hope he is now 100% and healthy.
I desperately hope fans give him our full support, especially if he appears in any friendlies, he will probably need to hear some love from fans after last year.

I think i fully fit and committed Tresor would be a real boost for everyone.
Re: Tresor
I wonder what Alan Pace was thinking when he made those comments about not being sure that Tresor wanted to play.

The player has the final say on whether a medical condition is diagnosed to the public at large, or not. They enjoy the same privacy rights as everyone else.
Re: Tresor
I had laporoscopic surgery in 2019 after my intestine perforated and split. I got sepsis and allsorts of jazz.
Took me about three years to recover from it. And I didn’t have to get to a level where I was playing Premier League football.

I don't think anyone was wanting to know the exact details of any illness, but a short statement from the club stating that he'd be unavailable due to having/had surgery would have saved a lot of wild speculation and conspiracy theories.ClaretOfMancunia wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 10:12 amThe player has the final say on whether a medical condition is diagnosed to the public at large, or not. Re: Tresor
It is of course normal in laparoscopic surgery to have 3 incisions, one for the scope and the others for the instruments.
Judging by the precise location I think it is clear what he had done so there should be no more need for secrecy. The odd bit is why such an operation requires such a long absence and that seems to be where the complicated story and multiple opinions such as from the Chairman comes in. Feels there is more to come out on this yet.
For my part as I have done throughout I’ll stay behind him and wish him well, hopefully with us.

EDIT - seen the photo again when I’m not in the sunlight and I had missed the big scar so clearly more serious than a simple laparoscopy. Anyway, my point still stands, we should get behind him.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 10:23 amIt is of course normal in laparoscopic surgery to have 3 incisions, one for the scope and the others for the instruments.

If Tresor was such a bad egg, why would SP have him around the dressing room when he talks about the togetherness and spirit in the squad

Pretty much what Tony says above. I've been told it was totally his decision not to go public, and he's entirley his right to do that. I hope those, singing stupid songs, taking the ****, think about this next time they might want to start on one of our own players.

That also aligns exactly to what I was told by someone involved with the club who was directly involved.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 9:13 amThe surgery was what I was told about which was why I was constantly defending him. The only reason I posted I knew was because of some of the comments on the board.
Despite the fact that I have hardly ever posted anything where I knew something so certain there were still plenty of comments saying you should not make “in the know” posts without giving specific details. I did not think it was right to do this given the club were not prepared to release the details for whatever reason they had made the decision.
The irony of this was that there were so many posters just making stuff up about Tresor - and there still is. One particular poster cannot help himself constantly talking about how much Tresor gets paid as some sort of rationale for not having any sympathy for him.
Hopefully he can make a full recovery and get some fitness back to carry on his career with us or anybody else. The physical injury may be on the mend but this must have taken a lot out of him mentally too and regaining his confidence will be tough.

Re: Tresor
Clearly, I'll bow to the resident surgeons but they look like old scars to me.
Alan Pace said what he said and the club hasn't made any serious attempts at clearing up the matter so as far as I am concerned it's all conjecture and we know diddly squat.
I'm just amazed that there are people wandering around calling themselves Bad Bunny.

Is it possible that the comment was stirrring controversy or had beeen misunderstood?
Probably not a good idea to undermine the chairman with "gossip" that can be misconstrued through perception or worse purposefully causing controversy.
The word "allegedly" is always helpful in these circumstances.

It's a baffler...not least because the club has had more than ample opportunity to rectify any misleading statements without compromising good practice in respect of innappropriate information disclosure.
In the circumstances I doubt there's a club anywhere who wouldn't have had a few dozen disgruntled fans drawing their own conclusions and generally acting like gobsh1tes.

Re: Tresor
Tresor was deemed fit to play not long after Pace made that comment about him being fit. It was at Reading where he came on and played a part as a sub. In the next press conference Parker said Tresor would be unavailable for the foreseeable. I believe it is clear that the Reading game provided a realisation he was not close to being ready and/or a new issue was found. We then didn’t see him again until the u21s appearance, when he was probably fit again, but didn’t feature in the first team as we were playing so well by that point in the run in.

Re: Tresor
Pace's comments clearly were ridiculous, there's a few at the club currently with a penchant for saying things they think people want to hear imo. Parker's comments have been pretty consistent and reasonable though.
Anyway, if the lad is around next season be ready for some to still boo him because there's no doubt they will.

I’m gathering that MT has had serious some pretty serious surgery for something ? What was it and when was it?
More importantly is he ok now and are we likely to see him play for us again?

It's quite odd though in a way because from what I saw he was excellent in that cameo (yes, I accept, not much off the ball movement!). We don't know how he was after that game though, he could have been seriously struggling in terms of recuperation/general fitness in the warm down and so on.

Re: Tresor
Quite clearly it was easily misunderstood as it has been by many people on social media, including yourself by the looks of it, for clarity being fit and well is TOTALLY different to be being fit to play. What pace said was so poorly worded and utterly unhelpful, but all you had to do was to listen to what Parker said about him and watched how he and his teammates reacted to Tresor and that would tell you more than what pace said. After all Parker and his teammates are the ones who deal with him on a daily basis.ClaretPete001 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 11:23 amToo many people keen to call fellow Clarets idiots.

As for what was said privately I also read that, but you or I have no idea what Pace actually said to that person I would imagine it was paraphrased and maybe missed some context but as said I don’t know but as with anything put in here I took it with a pinch of salt until I see proof that it was accurately portrayed.
