Whatever you think about Lowerhouse and their bowlers for me Toxi is absolute class, he guarantees line and length and gives batsmen very little to go after.
2.5 overs 3/8 outstanding

Re: Lancs League weekend
Spent the first half of the evening at Haslingden watching my nephew play for Clitheroe 15s then just caught the end of Rammy in their T20 followed a couple of beers.
Great crowds and atmospheres at both grounds.

Toxi seems to have been around forever and yet never looks (or performs) any differently. He's a brilliant bowler with the ability to nag batsmen into mistakes because he barely bowls a "hittable" ball. He was excellent again last night and he's also a really nice guy to boot.KernowHouseClaret wrote: ↑Fri Jun 20, 2025 8:51 pmWhatever you think about Lowerhouse and their bowlers for me Toxi is absolute class, he guarantees line and length and gives batsmen very little to go after.

Unfortunately for Harwood their bowlers aren't anywhere near that standard and House were able to score far too easily. Having said that, if the Harwood pro had managed to stay in he's certainly capable of winning that game, especially after the flying start they got, but I guess that's when the tight bowling really comes into its own and the batting got strangled.

Lovely lad, nips it both ways and seems to always get the big wicket when batters are well set.Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Sat Jun 21, 2025 8:00 amToxi seems to have been around forever and yet never looks (or performs) any differently.
