Maybe, like the majority of people, including Scott Parker, he rates Bauress.
Maybe.
Maybe.

I saw a couple of games with Joe playing including the FA Cup at Reading and he looks to have real promise

Bauress looked good, could do with a loan in League one this season

If he's good enough he will get a club to keep developing but it's making the right decision..

If you think it's that easy - it's definitely notClive 1960 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 9:45 amIf he's good enough he will get a club to keep developing but it's making the right decision..

Tony it's a lot easier now we are in the Premier league not like in the old 4th division i can assure you because Burnley with the money they have would want a player to go out and develop and also help with the wages..

If you think so, but I'm aware of the difficulties in getting some young players out on loan.Clive 1960 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 10:32 amTony it's a lot easier now we are in the Premier league not like in the old 4th division i can assure you because Burnley with the money they have would want a player to go out and develop and also help with the wages..

Re: C J Egan Riley/ Joe Bauress
Joe needs to be considered for a first team squad number this coming season. If he's good enough, he'll get more minutes this season starting with pre season.
Or try and get him a championship loan. Wrexham with Jay there would be ideal. However wherever he goes, you run the risk of his head being turned, and him looking to move for more minutes. If we see him as a longer term Burnley first teamer, we need to progress him this coming season.

Re: C J Egan Riley/ Joe Bauress
like i said earlier to you if he's good enough he will get a loan move as scouts watch these players week in week out and get back to their club's , that's usually how it works just like a player whose going to be released at end of the season if the club doesn't think they will make it with them..ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 11:26 amIf you think so, but I'm aware of the difficulties in getting some young players out on loan.

Re: C J Egan Riley/ Joe Bauress
I can assure you it doesn't always work like that, trying to get players out on loan with no first team experience is very difficult.Clive 1960 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 12:00 pmlike i said earlier to you if he's good enough he will get a loan move as scouts watch these players week in week out and get back to their club's , that's usually how it works just like a player whose going to be released at end of the season if the club doesn't think they will make it with them..

Re: C J Egan Riley/ Joe Bauress
but Joe as had first team experience and did ok , i agree if they haven't played first team it's hard but if scouts have seen potential in a young player they will try negotiate a loan move like Mellon who was took under Alexander at Bradford..

I can imagine so, he looked more than capable in his few games for us so hopefully someone will take him for the season.

Re: C J Egan Riley/ Joe Bauress
The club are very picky about where a player goes on loan too. They have to be able to see a clear development pathway for our player before even discussing terms with the other club. They also monitor them by phone on a weekly basis and with site visits every 6 weeks or so, in order to get face to face input both from the player and the loan club's development staff and coaches. That's why we see players being pulled out of loans halfway on occasion.Clive 1960 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 26, 2025 12:28 pmbut Joe as had first team experience and did ok , i agree if they haven't played first team it's hard but if scouts have seen potential in a young player they will try negotiate a loan move like Mellon who was took under Alexander at Bradford..
