Re: Bayer
It's funny (odd, not haha). At the start, when further away, walk looks totally normal. Then there's a sort of glitch on the video and he's very obviously gingerly placing his right foot after that point.

Re: Bayer
Sad to see, but he clearly can’t walk normally yet. It’s a fair jump from that to competing at the highest level of professional football.

Could be just a habit that he's picked up while injured. Well, I hope it's nothing more than that.

Re: Bayer
Perhaps just me. But looked like more of a swagger.
I have had four serious leg injuries. The first one took me a good year at least until I lost the limp. But it was more psychological than physical. So perhaps the same here.

Re: Bayer
There's a glitch in the video on 2-3 seconds (look at his head/shoulders) which makes it look like he has a bad limp, apart from that he does look to be walking a little gingerly.

Re: Beyer
I did my ACL in October and he's walking exactly like I'm doing at the moment. Definitely a limp but not one from pain, possibly more from his hamstring/other muscle not being 100% post injury.

Re: Beyer
I thought he walked with a limp but in a similar fashion to a middle aged man after a 5 hour drive. I also thought Sonne and a couple others looked to be walking a bit gingerly so that has eased my concerns over Beyer's limp.

Cullen was another that seemed to be walking a bit gingerly. He wasn't in the Ireland squad last month so guessing he's had/has some kind of injury

Ray Pointer had a distinct limp after his broken leg but played on for another 10 years.

Re: Beyer
Heard the limp was caused by his shoes, Tresor got a bag full of knock off trainers that usually go for £300 but was knocking them out at £30, Beyer takes an 46 but he only had 42’s but Beyer said a bargains a bargain.

Limpgate aside, Tuanzebe is one cool customer
Re: Beyer
On the latest training video the club have posted, you can see Beyer briefly right at the end running and gesturing to have the ball passed to him, with nary a limp in sight.

It looks more like he’s pointing towards his knee to tell the physio that it’s hurting.Grimsdale wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 11:31 pmOn the latest training video the club have posted, you can see Beyer briefly right at the end running and gesturing to have the ball passed to him, with nary a limp in sight.
