Love Jack Cork. Great addition to the first team coaches. One of the hardest working players and now coaches in the club

Top man. Thought he'd make a good coach. He's absolutely rubbish infront of the camera though, might put him off becoming a manager.

Agree. The mumbling and shite repetitive questions are bound to get poor answers.
We really need some better media team.
Re: Jack Cork Reflects On Coaching Move To First Team | INTERVIEW
Who cares what he does in front of a camera - if I remember right you banged this drum about Parker, and it's largely irrelevant in terms of managerial ability.
Re: Jack Cork Reflects On Coaching Move To First Team | INTERVIEW
Weird thing for you to remember, I don't really remember me banging any drum about that.
I think I once said about Parker being clearly introverted and not enjoying the media, which he's said himself. It's definitely not irrelevant if you want to get to the top. Parker basically lost his Bournemouth job because the pressure got to him and he said things he shouldn't to the media. Guessing he's learnt from that but he still clearly isn't fully comfortable.

It’s one thing I really like about Parker, is you can see he really doesn’t want to do all the interviews but always speaks well and gives the interviewer/journalists proper answers. Parker really is in it for everyone else.Goliath wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:54 pmWeird thing for you to remember, I don't really remember me banging any drum about that.

The club really does need to either get some training into these interviewers or drop their presentations altogether. Amateurish stuff like this does no-one any good.

The Walker interview was much better - more professional and the standard that should be the norm. It wasn't an upgrade though, it was produced before Jack's.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Jul 06, 2025 2:22 amDid you notice the huge upgrade on the Walker interview ?!

Love Jack Cork. I feel a lot more comfortable going in to the season with him working with the midfield.
He also mentioned “changes to the first team coaching set up” which Tony has also mentioned. Intrigued as to what these are. Jensen and the new GK coach seem settled so I’m hoping it’s not a change of role for Mike Jackson who I also really like.

We had one very good interviewer...heard SP call him " Crabbers " or " Grabbers " ? on occasion, but doesnt seem to have been around for a few months nowblatherwickstattoos wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 10:29 pmAgree. The mumbling and shite repetitive questions are bound to get poor answers.

I know who you mean. He’s the only one who can string a sentence together. The rest sound like students doing it for free for a college courserandomclaret2 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 06, 2025 12:53 pmWe had one very good interviewer...heard SP call him " Crabbers " or " Grabbers " ? on occasion, but doesnt seem to have been around for a few months now

No, just that the interview was done before Jack's according to the club list.

See i was the complete opposite with crabbers, I thought his voice was absolutely painful to listen to and he made all interviews feel cheesy.randomclaret2 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 06, 2025 12:53 pmWe had one very good interviewer...heard SP call him " Crabbers " or " Grabbers " ? on occasion, but doesnt seem to have been around for a few months now
I’ve mentioned before, crabbers asking fofana if he knew who wore the 23 shirt before him was the tip of the iceberg

Crabbers, or Simon Crabtree to give him his full name, was relieved of his duties.randomclaret2 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 06, 2025 12:53 pmWe had one very good interviewer...heard SP call him " Crabbers " or " Grabbers " ? on occasion, but doesnt seem to have been around for a few months now
He’d previously worked for Premier League Productions.
