Re: Loyalty Points Update
I've just slightly amended the top post to make it a bit clearer.
Maximum points that can be removed is 530 if you attended all away games, all cup games and had bought a ticket for Man City, the first game played behind closed doors.

Re: Loyalty Points Update
Is there a way to see what games/points you accrued that season?

How does that work if you already get 350 pts for buying a season ticket? and if it is that you get pts for attending how do I get mine added as none showing on my account?

Re: Loyalty Points Update
So on top of the 350 we get for season ticket purchase we now also get upto 95 additional points for attending the game?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 09, 2025 11:54 am2019/20 points to be removed by 14th July

Re: Loyalty Points Update
It's a much better way of discouraging people who aren't attending from leaving the seat empty than the clubs that punish you for doing so.

Re: Loyalty Points Update
Yeah, I fully understand that but not the 5 points for ST holders attending a home game (especially when we already get 350)?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 09, 2025 1:17 pmYes - I think that’s to try and encourage people to put it on the exchange when they’re not doing so they can sell the ticket again.

Re: Loyalty Points Update
It would be ridiculous to give more points to people who sell their ticket than those who go to the game
Re: Loyalty Points Update
It's an incentive to get people to use the ticket exchange when they can't attend a game.daveisaclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jul 09, 2025 2:06 pmIt would be ridiculous to give more points to people who sell their ticket than those who go to the game

Yes and it's good, but it would still be ridiculous to give more points to people who sell the ticket than people who go to the game. It is incentivising you to do one or the other and not leave the seat empty.

It's
5 points if you attend
5 points if you sell on the ticket exchange
0 points if you do neither
People selling on the exchange don't get more points

There’s not much they do that makes sense, but I can see the thinking behind this.

Except for fans in the CFS as these tickets cannot be sold on the ticket exchange unless it has changed for this season.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 09, 2025 2:21 pmHave I not posted this correctl?

Re: Loyalty Points Update
I've lost 700 trip to ticket office i think
Re: Loyalty Points Update
Mine gone down by 360, still got 2700 left so all good.

Re: Loyalty Points Update
Didn't think it was possible to accrue that many points for the 2019/20 season (unless you purchased lots of home tickets for others), so I'd contact the TO and ask them to check the figure.

Re: Loyalty Points Update
Exactly. Should only be the 350 for the season as didn't attend any other games.
Had same issue last season they deducted points even though I'd not been a ST holder for 18/19 season

Re: Loyalty Points Update
When you have a manual system there will always be some errors. Why they can‘t have a computer automatically do it instead of having to do it manually god only knows. The ticket office is still in the stone age.

Re: Loyalty Points Update
I attend more away games than home games as they are often as cheaper and/or easier for me to get to. If I attend just 5 away games I get more points than I would for driving up to Turf Moor for all 19 home games next season.
As stated higher up the thread, I can't put my ticket on the exchange because it is in the CFS so it has to be private transfers. Though I do get the points for them attending!

5 away games x 20 points = 100 points
19 non-season ticket home games x 10 points = 190 points
19 season ticket home games = 350 points + 19 x 5 points if attending = 95 points = Total points 445

Re: Loyalty Points Update
I have my season ticket, so attending 5 away games = 450 points without attending any of the 19 home games.

Re: Loyalty Points Update
I guess you could buy a ticket for every single game and not attend any of them and get the maximum number of loyalty points.

But I do attend enough home games to make it worth my while. I was merely pointing out the 5 aways =more than 19 home games anomaly.

Re: Loyalty Points Update
Assuming it’s to encourage those unable to attend to use the ticket exchange.
Be interested in the t&c of that though
It says “selling on the ticket exchange“. Does that mean you only get those points if it sells or do you get them if you just list it to sell?
