WTF was that challenge on Hannibal. Totally unnecessary in a friendly.

Stoke’s physicality is just ridiculous in a friendly game.

Would like to see them drop Hannibal back, move Larsen to the 10 and put westley up top for a while and see what Larsen can do from there

Muric was also good at playing out from the back, doesn't mean he's a good keeper.
Muric was a good keeper for us.

Wiess lots to work on but positive so far is his playing out

I have reservations about whether Edwards will offer anything in the Premier League. It takes him far too long to decide what to do with the ball and his end product is often very wasteful.

Tbf to Stoke they are a week out from starting the season, robins has probably told them to treat this like a league game.

Would help if the movement ahead was a bit better but he does frustrate with that

Stupid by Laurent. What’s he thinking.

The referee has brought this farce on himself though.

Shocking from Laurent. Two poor tackles from behind, both yellows. A better ref would let it go in a friendly but this guy wants to be centre of attention.

Can’t believe what I’m seeing in a pre season game sending a man off . Add to that no gentleman’s agreement to sub someone on in order to get the full compliment from your pre season jaunt.

Edwards and Anthony have been off it today but it might help if they had a body to aim for.

IMO the yellow card challenge by the Stoke lad was worse, it was a real cheap shot and very dangerous.

That's not what the commentator said. He said the FA rule on it and frequently do carry the ban into a league game.

It wouldn’t disappoint me if Burnley just walked off the pitch here.

The ref has been appalling (he’s from Stoke).

The challenge on Hannibal which was just before the Laurent red card was horrible and nasty and worthy of a red.

Which ref books so many players in what is essentially a fitness exercise?!

At least Rovers are getting beat, Stoke are currently above them as things stand, this result has no bearing on our League position because we are in the Premier League.

Yeah, I was just pointing out it wouldn’t make sense to carry suspensions from friendlies into league games because a token friendly could just be played to negate it.

He is not biased, just very card happy, and having given about 8 cards out feels every subsequent foul is going to get a card

Commentator made a good point-he should have come over to Parker and told him to get Laurent off and replaced ather than the ref red card him

Any player dismissed from the Field of Play will now be suspended automatically from only Friendly Matches until such time as his Club has completed its next Friendly Match, as decided by The Football Association or relevant County Association.

We look way off it, granted they are a week ahead in preseason, but we've not even had a shot on target. It's going to be a long old season if we don't get a few attacking players with some real quality.
