Good move. I thought if he was given a chance he could have developed and held down a place, like CJER. But he has never really got passed third choice. Still time I suppose.

Challinor is an excellent manager who has this amazing record of either getting a team promoted automatically or at least into the playoffs when he has been in charge for a full season.

Last season a Burton fan described him as "a cheatcode at this level". Good luck to him, I hope he manages to get fewer yellow cards, last season he got 10 in 22 appearances. 4 assists wasn't a bad return for a full back.

Stoke recalled him from Walsall in Jan but he didn’t feature much.

Very good move for him. He missed out on a loan this time last year through an injury and played some under-21 games when he got fit. It was obvious watching him that he needed regular first team football.

He’s a solid player, will probably forge a decent career. However, he is not Premier League quality at this moment in time.
