Liverpool
Just was wondering if we should sing the National Anthem when we play Liverpool at home and see if they join in after booing it in the Charity Sheild last week..

Re: Liverpool
This would be tragic behaviour but slightly less tragic than the singing about food banks the last time they came here.

Re: Liverpool
I’d be happy for a win and 90 minutes of chanting ‘you Scouse bastards’ at them.

Re: Liverpool
Ridiculous thread. And no, I wouldn’t sing it.
Re: Liverpool
What an excellent idea. I wish I’d thought of it. Nothing like reciting a dirge to a nonexistent being in the sky to save an incredibly rich entitled person who lives in a palace; well several. Perhaps our own religious weirdos could invite him. That would put the cherry on the icing on the cake!!!!!

Re: Liverpool
I presume your talking about Christians being the religious weirdos because before so long if you mean any other weirdos you may be up for blasphemy, but it’s ok to kick our own religious weirdos ,by the way I only tend to visit a church for weddings ,funerals and Christenings so I’m not a religious weirdo.Corky wrote: ↑Fri Aug 15, 2025 12:29 pmWhat an excellent idea. Re: Liverpool
Scousers are now at least 4 generations away from being 100% Irish and now for some reason they really like to think they are not English. Not so long ago quite a few Liverpool lads used to follow England awayI can't really put my finger on them being anti English but if they are that bothered why don't they form Merseyside league or even relocate their team to Dublin and play in Ireland

Re: Liverpool
I have to admire Scousers and their guile.
How would you feel about your country when your own government suggested managed decline of your area.
I have sympathy for them.
