Re: Nuno
I hope they do sack him. It might destabilise them.

Re: Nuno
Maybe he's something else in the pipeline and it works out better for him to be sacked than quitting.

But Marinakis has no control at Forest, it can't be anything to do with him.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 1:43 pmThe guy reporting is followed by Romano, Ornstein, McGrath, Kay, Plettenberg etc so he's clearly legit. That would be peak Marinakis.

Re: Nuno
Kay has done a piece on it with some quotes I hadn't heard. Doesn't sound good for Nuno

Re: Nuno
Nuno’s odds to be first Prem manager to go have been shortening this week. He must have the patience of a saint to work for Marinakis.

Re: Nuno
He got them a good 6-7 places above their stamp last season and only 4 points from 4th place. Had he not taken over, they'd have been nearer to relegation fodder. He should have one of the safest jobs in the Prem.

Re: Nuno
Nuno has just done a press conference where he's basically confirmed the relationship with the owner has considerably broken down.
While I'm no fan of Marinakis, they have spent quite a bit, despite losing Elanga, so his comments about the squad are slightly odd.

Re: Nuno
The issue is not that players are being added to the squad it is the fact it is players Nuno either didn't want or knew nothing about, reported that the fellow they signed from Botafogo Igor something that Nuno didn't know about it until he was having a medical, seems Edu has been stamping his authority.Swizzlestick wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 3:44 pmNuno has just done a press conference where he's basically confirmed the relationship with the owner has considerably broken down.

Also Marinakis doesn't like the style of football and prefers a Jurgen Klopp press and on the front foot which obviously goes against Nuno's style.
Re: Nuno
Dead man walking and he knows it from that press conference given today. If there are still decent odds for 1st Prem sacking then get some money on him. Just a matter of time. Marinakis is probably already seeking his next man.

Re: Nuno
I don't think it's so much dead man walking. It's more Nuno is / has engineered his departure before he meets a Russian oligarchs accident.

That's exactly what SSN are currently speculating about.Nonayforever wrote: ↑Fri Aug 22, 2025 7:05 pmI don't think it's so much dead man walking. It's more Nuno is / has engineered his departure before he meets a Russian oligarchs accident.
They say they "understand" that there's a real possibility that Nuno may not be in charge on Sunday.
An "engineered " move being mentioned.

Re: Nuno
It’s never a good idea for the owner of a sports team to get involved in the day to day running of the club, no matter which sport it is. A good owner hires the right people to look after the sport end of things, keeps his nose out and pays the bills.

Re: Nuno
He'd have to be mental to sack Nuno after last season.
So get your money on it.

Re: Nuno
Interestingly now being described as unfixable.

Not sure what to make of it but NF weren't the same before Nuno took over. Interesting viewing from out of nowhere.
