Garlick did not take any money out of the club

Pace and Co took the money out of the club and used it to pay Garlick for control of BFC

They (not Garlick) did that and, at the same time, decided they would pay themselves very good salaries whilst saddling the club with debt

I have no allegiance to Garlick at all but look at the current owners for the financials we currently endure

Yes, he made a lot of money but that buyout was put forward by Alan and his mates

We have endured far worse financial positions than that we are currently seeing, all under the stewardship of local owners, very close to the brink of disaster on several occasions

So those sneaky Americans stole the money from the club before they took control of it, and used it to pay off poor, uninformed Mr Garlick who had no idea any of this had happened and the next thing he knew he just suddenly had millions in his bank without realising where it came from and Burnley F.C had nothing at all.

To be fair the money he withheld from Dyche the summer we only signed Dale Stephens will probably go further at Cheltenham. I bet Cheltenham never thought they would benefit from Premier League payments
