Found it a little bit strange. I know he started out there as a kid and he’s a talented player, but in dragging in Wright to hype him up, you’d think they’d just signed Messi in his prime.
When all said and done he’s 27 years old and hasn’t yet played regularly either at european or international level.
He’ll thrive there I’m sure, but that was a bit overblown for what he is now.
