Great sharp passing there. Ramsey into Barnes, first time to Tresor with a great pass into Sonne who provides a striker's finish.

Well done Burnley.

I literally just said “I don’t think Tresor has had a touch yet” then he does that.

Tresor has a touch of quality in the final third other players don’t.

Special mention to Banel I thought he was a strange signing but he looks to have something. Maybe one to watch this season

It wasn't pretty, but job done and minutes in legs. Loum, Banel and Sonne my pick of the best. Glad to see Tresor grab an assist, looked quite sharp so here's hoping (again).

Great goal, fantastic run from Sonne and some pass from Tresor.

Ramsey man of the match tonight for me.

Tchaouna is going to be great for us.

Banel looked a talent to.

We needed to get through, just to try and create a momentum. Lots of players, who needed it, getting a good run out. Some players showing real quality, and the return of Mike.
Has to be a good night.

We made plenty of runs particularly during the first half, but no one was able to pick out the right pass. Enter Mike! Delighted for him and Sonne for their goal contributions. And for Ramsey who i thought had a great game. Nice to progress.

Did well did Banel. Very positive. Unlike Edwards. Can't see him getting many minutes. Hasn't got a football brain at all.

I would rather have Tresor on the bench for the next premier league game than Edwards to be honest. Anyone else gets the ball but Tresor at the end there, and we don't score.

Getting a chance in the league and being good enough for the league are two different things.

I just feel that to save our season, and maybe his job, Scott has to trust flair at some point, not just defensive nous and reliability. It is his achilles heel. At least, it has been so far in his Premier League managerial career.

Good goal that. Ramsey with the sharp, incisive forward pass to Barnes who dropped into space, first time lay off to Tresor who sees a line breaking run and executes the perfectly weighted pass, with probably his first touch.

Workmanlike - but what else could you expect from a squad containing 0 starters from last Saturday's win over Sunderland, and players such as Ramsey, Bashir, Broja, and Tresor, coming into the squad in order to get some vital game time after long-term injuries.

Not many complimentary comments about Edwards tonight. I thought he was poor as well and there's no way he's suited to playing premier league footy, but the mood certainly seems to have shifted on him from last season.

I did the same, he wasn't chasing the ball he was constantly finding space in between and behind their midfield and trusting it'd eventually come. It did and we saw what happened. Very clever player.

Also, that's not the same player who played under Kompany, he's bulked up and he's putting himself about. It's made me wonder if his illness had started during that season, the man who came on against Lutin was nothing like what we saw there in terms of attitude.

Also, interestingly (for me anyway), I stayed back a bit afterwards and just watched him stay out on the pitch on his own with a fitness coach.. I've just left whilst he was doing sprints on his own up and down the pitch.

Edwards just looked lazy tonight. What better way to show you deserve a league start than to perform when given the chance. No way he starts a league game now.

Still think in a time where subs are vital, people are writing Edwards off unfairly. The free-kick he won almost lead to a goal.

I thought he was the nearly man tonight. Got in some great positions, but his final ball just wasn’t up to it.
