Pathetic tbh. Dubravka was clear MOM and it wasn’t even close .

Foster was at best 7/10 today and the +1 because he scored. We need better
Why have mom in a team game?

He's certainly got something in the prem hasn't he. Great again today.

I'm sure they'll still be 5's in the player rating post tho
I haven't looked, but you're probably right, hope you're not. I don't do ratings, if I did hed be a 7/8, today

Foster has been one of our best players this season, right now he'd be one of my first names on the teamsheet.

He's made a few people look very silly so far

Just like the start of the 23/24 season, Lyle has looked excellent at this level. Long may it continue.

How would you set us up differently-its clear you feel he should not be starting. Bear in mind the window closes in two days, we have probably used our budget, and Broje is far from match fit as he showed v Derby

I was the first to suggest he needed shipping out, but so far he’s been proving me completely wrong

Willing runner with little success first half, but he was excellent second half.

Not getting carried away just yet, but there’s hope that he might actually be the player Kompany said he would be when he signed two and a half years ago.

I remember on the first documentary one of the board members (or VK) suggesting he'll be better in the premier league than the championship. It's so true, but I don't understand why. Maybe playing football on the break rather than final third intricacy? He's powerful and not short of pace. Really pleased for him that he's started well.

Unusually does look better in the Premier League but it is more suited to his style of play. Early days but he deserved that goal today after having others cruelly ruled out.

Better than any United striker. He works his socks off. So happy for him , I’ve doubted him many a time but always thought there’s a player in there

Started this season like he started the last PL season. He even had a goal wrongly chalked off too, at Forest. VAR hates him.

He should be on three goals from 3 games so far, and that's with not a whole lot of chances. Plus his hold up play and strength has been spot on. Hopefully this will he his season

IMO, just like Edwards suits a team that dominates games and plays most of the ninety minutes in the oppositions half, Fosters struggles more in tight spaces, he needs grass to run into and is an excellent ball carrier. He will be far more effective at this level than the one below.

He has started really well. Just like last time under VK.

Strange how certain skill sets are more aligned with the prem rather than the league below.

Foster is suited to the prem , purely. Because he has more freedom and the ball over the top . Having said that he still has the foster flaws - heading - holding - passing off but i do think he’s a ten goal a season striker .

He’s playing well, he took his two chances very well today and was unlucky with the second. We could do with his hold up play and nuisance-causing to improve, but the early signs this season are promising.

So, so important for Lyle to start scoring after beginning the season well.

We can prevail.

The guy scored 2 perfectly valid goals at OT yesterday, infront of the Stretford End...what more can he do? Lets get behind him, the same as we do the rest of the team.

Foster has been brilliant this season, really hoping he doesn’t get injured on international duty now.

Some players can turn it on in the big time and he's one of them. Maybe not so great when we expect to win but awesome when we don't.
