4.30 York

Post by ISpeds00 » Sun Sep 07, 2025 4:34 pm

Anyone just watched this - sickening fall
Dont think i've seen a horse fall on a 6F sprint - both jockeys still down

Was the fav ALMERAQ steaming to get in contention, fell and took another down mid race at full pelt

Horrific incident, thankfully though both horses involved are ok which considering the speed they were going is a bit of a miracle

Early reports state that Crowley is in a bad way and may not even race again

I was at York yesterday when this happened. It was a horrible fall and the atmosphere almost went silent for a short while. Hope both jockeys are okay. The horses seemed fine. One crossed the line without a saddle but didn't look to have any injuries.
