It doesn't, but I assumed Tresor would be taking the 25th spot, but it sounds like he is going out on loan.
That leaves us with 24, unless of course Beyer is taking it but that definitely leaves us short on creativity in midfield, hence the suggestion we may bring in a free agent.

Beyer back in light training after a little set back could explain why we did not bring a cab in?
It's almost two years since he last played a game. It will be a miracle if such a young player manages to overcome that kind of injury and returns to the level he was at when we signed him. I'd say there's a zero chance he plays for us this season (it would also be pretty unfair on our side to just throw him in and expect him to save our season). Maybe he goes somewhere on loan unless another setback appears.

Now Benson has left the squad size excluding Beyer and Amdouni is 26 with one or both of Tresor and Delcroix to leave to get us down to 25 or 24. A squad of 24 would allow us to add someone who is OOC and free agent, like Eriksen.

You’d imagine if both Tresor and Delcroix leave and Beyer or Amdouni aren’t registered then we would leave the squad at 24 until January

Got a feeling this has been misinterpreted, and that its Delcroix that is the left sided defender in question.
That would make much more sense.

Hopefully! Could do with moving him on.

If Turkish clubs ended up signing all the players their media and fans link them to then it would be the best league in the world.

Nixon- bid was made for Sargeant over the summer but was very low with complicated add ons totalling a sum of around £10 million.

Sounds like we were just testing the waters as you'd have thought we'd have gone back in with a higher offer.

Sargent is no better than what we have and we didn't need another injury prone player

Didn't realise Sargent was injury prone. Makes his scoring record even better.

He played 36 games last season so wouldn’t call that particularly bad and looks on top form. Would have loved him here.
That said according to Nixon, and I appreciate it’s Nixon who has a tendency to come up with nonsense, our initial bid was just £1.5m. If so no wonder they turned us down flat.

A few key windows closing today - Belgium in particular (despite its erroneous header of “winter” window, this is a good window close tracker)
https://europeanleagues.com/transfer-windows/
Will we see a loan move for Tresor or Delcroix?

Would prefer Eriksen, but if the stories of him training with Malmo are true then maybe he is in no rush for a deal or is waiting for a big money offer.
Either way he us likely to be way off the pace at this point and maybe the desire is fading?

Do feel he has strong ‘six month loan deal to Kasimpasa’ energy.

Had been quoted weeks ago as saying he wants to leave England, it was never in his plan to come back yet he did so for 2.5 years.
So I never expected him to sign for us.
