Is the Witton Arms still the away fans pub?

I thought they'd made it home fans only last time we were there

Yeh that stuck in my mind, that’s why I ask. We are on the train with no colours so will give it a whirl.

I remember going there a few years back but looking on Google it's looking like home fans only.

Stay in the centre if on the train.

A spoons near the station that allows both sets of fans in gets mentioned on twitter. I presume the local station.

There are no away friendly pubs anywhere near the ground. From memory of our last visit to Villa Park. whilst beer is available in the Lower Tier, it's not in the Top Tier

There’s a Wetherspoons inside the train station, Briar Rose is a five minute walk away. If using Google Maps can also recommend Sun on the Hill, Head of Steam and Trocadero. All within a 5 minute walk of the station.

(Thought I’d clarify which city centre station I meant)

“For those who might be taking kids and therefore might be looking for something a little different to a pub, then last year we found ourselves at the Family Fun Zone inside the Villa Academy building very close to Villa Park. There are various football activities inside, even free training sessions run by coaches. Even though our kids were dressed in Forest gear, they were made to feel very welcome and it’s a great alternative to the usual pre-match. For those who might need it, there is also a bar inside.”
