Rotherham v Bradford City

Post by ElectroClaret » Thu Oct 02, 2025 9:15 pm

2-0 Rotherham after 52 mins.
Grezzas high flying Bantams currently being solidly beaten by lowly Rotherham.

Time for them to come back, though.
Not a bad game, either.

I have just finished a book a mate lent me 56 the Bradford City Fire by Martin Fletcher as I can remember it happening at the time half of it was read with tears in my eyes.Any avid reader of football books and old enough to remember the disaster I strongly recommend reading it.And even if it's just for the rest of this season I will be on the lookout for Bradfords results and wishing them all the best especially with Alexander at the helm

Incredibly moving story so well written too. Gabby Yorath( as was) along with her sister sat just in front of the Fletcher family at that match. The entrance to the stand where the fire began was at the top and back of the stand and the poor people who lost their lives that day were literally locked in. I shudder just thinking about it.

A horrible scenario I knew quite a lot about it from the time but how the hell was nobody held accountable especially delving into the owners past businesses
