Forest 1 Midtylland 3 in the Europa League
Boos and "sacked in the morning" from the Forest fans
Huge opportunity missed by us not to beat them

Keep on losing Forest. The Championship trophy would look good on Postecoglou's mantlepiece

Re: Forest
Well he does always win something in his second season !! Nice to see them struggling after the way the owner treated Nuno. Chris Wood had a good cameo tonight ..came on with 15 minutes left , had two goals disallowed for offside and scored a penalty .

Re: Forest
Another team for the bottom 3. That was a terrible appointment as Postecoglu is a really bad manager.

Exactly. I reckon I could have got them to the top ten with that squadrandomclaret2 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 02, 2025 10:23 pmHow was it even possible to get Tottenham to finish 17th in the Premier League ?

They still have very good players but are a real mess ATM. I really thought it was a great chance for a win at TM.

Re: Forest
Agree with the OP.
We had only 3 primarily attack minded players throughout that game, Forest had 4. Then we took one off on 81 to finish the game with only 2 (Anthony and Foster, who was replaced by Flemming on 88). Forest had the highest possession since they returned to the PL in 2022.
So to me it really did feel like a chance missed. We never showed any bravery to try to win the game and look content to play out draws. Ange, though he has his knockers, does try to win.

Re: Forest
I messaged a Forest supporting pal of mine this morning. His response was "We are relegation candidates. We've swapped the most over performing manager from last season, with the most under performing manager from last season". It's a fair comment. I just think the players bought into what Nuno was trying to do. The Big Greek was foolish for letting his personal issue with Nuno cloud his judgement. It's good for us though, as they could well get dragged into a fight at the bottom.

I was afraid at the start of the season this would be our problem.
We should really have a go at Villa, but we won't.

Re: Forest
Until forest find a way of getting rid of marankis there will always be periods of turbulence. Marankis isn't bad for forest he's brought them success after years in the wilderness but he isn't a people person it's his way or the highway.
