I don't think that it would be unreasonable to call it an absolute sh** show! Just imagine telling people today that their missing tickets will be emailed out at 11am on Sunday morning!!!
Also occurred to me that often people want to actually print off QR, barcodes and or tickets as a physical thing to have in case their phone goes flat or won’t open properly but this last minute sending out of the emails limits their ability to do this if they don’t have a home printer and were wanting to do at work or elsewhere

On the coach on way to one away game this season I remember a couple with a kid, the wife’s ticket had come and then the kids arrived
We were getting off at the pub stop
And he was still fretting on his, it eventually landed but his stress levels were high

Unfortunately it's starting to look like things are moving towards downloads being the only option.

Game after game and there is never a word from the Director of Fan Experience despite the experience being shocking and nothing is ever done to improve it, so you have to assume they don't think there's a problem.

No excuse for the late late show though
They could just send them out at the point of payment

I may be totally wrong but I'm sure that this form of ticket is becoming a Premier League rule from next season.

I think it's a percentage from 26/27, maybe 70% from memory.

Apologies. Operator error on my part. I have now emailed the links to the two tickets separately.

Hopefully you can download the tickets.

They quite possibly haven't received them from the home Club at that point.

It will get to the stage where some people just decide its not worth the hassle, especially for a game thats on TV.

Despite numerous calls to the ticket office and promises that the ticket would be emailed out it has still not been received

Worth seeing if Leisure/Accy clarets have ended up with any spares?

Wouldn't it be easier to just ignore the three or four posters who get upset whenever someone points out the football club isn't perfect?

Why would you not go?

Not ideal, but go to villas ticket office with your confirmation and any correspondence with Burnley, I'm sure they'd sort you out

So just to clarify did the person wanting the second ticket travel to the game but not get in?

My daughter informed me (whilst at the tram stop in Whitefield on our way) that she hadn't got her ticket. Needless to say I went ballistic at her and said why did you not say you had not got the email ( I did ask her to look when I knew mine had arrived) After already reading the issues on here I assumed she was another with no email. She looked in her wallet (Apple) and it was there to our relief. She is adamant she didn't get an email and put it there herself. Has that happened to others I wonder?

What reason did they give for refusing entry?

That's more bizarre than not receiving an email.

I assume apple wallet is the same as Google, where you have to give permission to add things to your wallet?

No Photo ID so couldn’t reprint, and unable to re-send to original email including various finger pointing at Burnley.

Seems poor from villa if you could show the confirmation and even your clarets online account which would show your purchase.

Agreed…
We did, annoying, frustrating and a number of other emotions.

Final update on this from me here…

TicketOffice have now refunded us, whilst it is a resolution of sorts and one in the circumstances i guess is the best we could hope for we arent the only ones this happened to and this ISNT the first game its happened at this season, both were confirmed as questioned during dealing with ticket office just now.

Processes MUST improve, as even one fan missing a game they’ve purchased a ticket like this is one too many.
