We look better in a four, I know they are sitting back but no surprise. Controls midfield more.

No free kick, but he stops the game anyway.

All this does is slow any momentum we might have had.

What's betting the referee adds no time on to the stoppage time for all this nonsense too

Really poor from Walker there, Buendia was clearly down faking his head injury and was clear the ref would stop it, ball was spinning out of play for our thrown in but he keeps it in, ref blows and now will be a drop ball in a position with no benefit to us.

Play stopped with 2 minutes and 20 seconds of added time to play, so let's see who long the ref plays until he blows.

Im still confused as to why we were down to 10 men for their second. Florentino seemed to be off for a v long time and was waiting to come back on. Im guessing this is what the layers are taking up woth the officials. The sky team seem oblivious.

Let's hope Buendia is OK.

Difficult for ZF when you're defending yourself against a smaller player from behind.

Things we have learned from today.
We are better with a back four.
Laurent is NOT a centre back.
We need Ugochukwu's physicality in midfield.
Bruun Larsen is not fit.
Broja is not ready to play in the Premier League.
Dubravka is a fantastic 'keeper.
We need a centre forward.
Hopefully Parker will feel the same about some of these.

Frustrating match this. We've done ok, but you can't help feeling we didn't start the right XI. Some obviously like the 5 at the back, I really don't. Sacrificing Les on midfield for Laurent at the back is plain stupid.

JBL should be nowhere near the squad. Broja ditto until he's scoring in the 21s.

I'm sure the gaffer knows about what we need and probably has done for a while, problem is can we survive 3 months with the current squad and not be in an impossible survival position by the time the January transfer window opens. We're not gonna have a good time signing the quality we need if we're not an appealing target.

Last 20 or so gives me hope.

What we can't do again is give up the midfield battle and play passively. We have to be tenacious and battle in the middle of the park - we certainly have enough quality there with Cullen, Les and Luis; they have to start every game together.

I think any player suffering a head injury- which Tino did and play was stopped for- must leave the pitch to be examined by a doctor.

The next two games are bigger than they already were. Need a win or two. Disappointing result today but not unexpected. Snippets of things are okay but overall some of these displays look relegation fodder. Les needs to start the next game and stick to a back four. Dubravka player of the season so far.

Despite the negativity, we were still more competitive than when we faced them early in the season last time around.
Despite fears of not being able to score and being awful from set-pieces, we score from a corner.

Second best but goiing to Villa and losing by one goal is nothing to be ashamed of. Keep fighting and enjoy the good bits of the season. There are sure to be less than there will be tough times!

Agreed with those who think we need to start Cullebt, Luis and Big Les.
Laurent shouldn’t be starting, let alone at centre back.
