Not sure about that….
Despite scoring from a corner yesterday, I think our set piece play is still dreadful. There seems to be no plan or set move. It’s like Sunday morning stuff - just throw it in the box and hope for the best.

Free kicks often go backwards affording us no opportunity to exploit the advantage we have won. Appalling waste.

How on earth has he got an opportunity elsewhere?

If I remember rightly they worked the same free kick in the home fixture vs City. This time Waldron et al took the defenders across the penalty area leaving Dobo unfettered at the back post to nut it in.

Re: Set piece coach gone
That was a belting set piece, as was the one at Elland Road when we dismantled Leeds 4-1.
Doug Collins just outside of the right side of the penalty area making out he was going to cross to the far post but but instead delivered to Geoff Nulty at the near post.
He in turn headed across goal for Martin Dobson (or maybe Paul Fletcher) to steal in and head home.
I'm sure I read an article around that time in the Burnley Express that Jimmy Adamson left the players to their own devices when it came to attacking set pieces.
