No.
But anything, a comment from either manager for instance, or a quote from the players agent?
This is just regurgitating other media Rumours as often happens nowadays. Again no different from our rumored bid.

Spoke to a friend who's a Norwich fan and he confirmed Brady is a very good player
but needs constant 'motivating' as he can apparently drift out of games if he isn't.
Well, don't think motivation will be an issue under Dyche.
The issue is can we beat Leicester if, as suggested, they're interested in him.
They could probably match our bid and probably offer 10k+ a week more than we're willing to go.
Having said that we're currently ahead of them in the league and have the Ward/Hendrick
factor which could make a difference but not necessarily 10k+ difference .
Do hope we manage to pull this one off. He does seem the perfect fit.

I'm hoping there's been a few WhatsApp messages going between Brady-Hendrick-Ward this week

How many left sisded players do palace need ? They have signed schlupp, had a bid rejected for van Aarnholt, been linked with Evra and want Brady !

It looks like £13m or no point in pursuing it to me, even if it seems daft to anyone else. If we don't match it we won't get him.

Burnley have made an offer worth up to £13m for Norwich winger Robbie Brady, 24. The Republic of Ireland international is also wanted by Crystal Palace and Sunderland. (Daily Mirror)
This from BBC Sport

That's about the strength of it.
I did find a quote from Norwich saying we'd made a bid, can't find the link now.

It wouldn't be £13 million anyway. It'll be up to that figure based on appearances etc.

“Is Burnley news to me? The figure certainly is.”
That says to me = We know they want him, but the bid isn't big enough.

Agreed. Or at least, the guaranteed down payment isnt big enough.

I think £12m with 1m addons would do it. We could probably afford that with £40m profit sat in the bank.

Barely way transfers get done all in one payment now, £0m upfront is a substantial fee.
Maybe it's just wishful thinking.

For some reason I feel more positive about this than our usual transfer dealings. Sounds like our offer is within the ball park and not too far away.
I think the Ward/Hendrick link and the fact he could be a regular in our first team will have a big bearing on his decision.
On the downside Palace and Leicester could offer higher wages and both closer to Norwich so less commuting.

I think youre misinterpreting the upfront bit. I dont think its about whether it is a one off payment straight away or paid in installments but more about what we guarantee to pay them over time regardless of appearances or any other terms like staying up that trigger an additional payment

I reckon he'd move house if he signed for us.

He's not a player who has concerned himself with geography too much - Manchester United to Hull to Norwich so far. The one thing for sure, if you play for Norwich and leave, you have to move.
