Every week the opposing managers talk about our long ball, second ball game and how they know we are going to play like that. Well, why not try to teach your players on how to deal with it? If it's that obvious why does it still work?

It works very well on set pieces. If you watch any set piece going into the box grey and Barnes stand offside knowing that they are not going for the header, they are going for the second ball. People seem to know it's coming and still canno handle ot

I always thought Murphy was alright, at least he spoke about us.

Dont mind Murphy too much. I mean, he screwed Blackburn for a start, picking up an insane wage late in his career when he knew he was past it.
As a co commentator I always think he sounds like a Scouse version of Ron Atkinson.

never mind us, but the MOTD team really seem to have an issue with Boro for some reason.

I read this thread before watching MOTD this morning and I was expecting little or no praise what so ever from summaries on this thread. Whilst describing us Murphy used the words fantastic and brilliant what more do we want?

I'd rather be last on motd than first on the championship. :D

It's always the same - one pundit summarises at the end.

No problem with being last, the game wasn't exactly full of goals and excitement, the MOTD running order is determined by number of goals in the match.

We get this sort of discussion every week.

Games are generally shown in order of number of goals scored. There was 4 games with 4 goals and 2 with 3.
Watford didn't have any.
Don't you think it would have been a little patronising to show them first just because of Taylor's death?

As for Wright not saying anything, it was probably because he wasn't asked to say anything.

Both pundits don't make comments on all the games unless there was some big decision.

If you find that we are on too late for you to stay up and watch it, just do what I do and record to watch on the Sunday morning

I agree, Murphy is usually quite positive about us. He certainly was last night.

If other managers want to criticise it makes me happy. Managers usually criticise when they DON'T get a result against us. The Karanka / Moanhinho thing irritates me but again, it's because they don't get the results against us.

As much as it irks me the way we are clearly rated as substandard to the 'big boys', I can understand it. Being 7th match on again,etc...doesn't bother me.

I was disappointed they didn't show Barton's (I think) majestic pass in the final minutes to send Boyd down the left wing.
