1 day it will get better.

The club must lose/lost lots of cash by paying for the ticket, paying for the printer, paying for someone to print it off, paying for the ticket scanner and finally paying a bloke to then stand on a pedal and let you in.

There must be an easier and more cost/customer frienday way.

Someone make yourself rich and get to dragons den with an idea.

Earlier on here an app was mentioned. Everything is done on mobile these days makes sense to load the ticket and any future tickets onto an app.

Not for many people under 10 or over 50, certainly not smart phones anyway.

Also then you need to have a certain phone to be able to get a season ticket..

agree!

cost of printing tickets, postage and admin seems crazy when 15000 have a plastic card that holds our details and purchasing history!

Tony - Looking at the seating plan it's looks like there's no way we've sold more than 6/7,000.

Why have we sold so few?

We've got a very winnable game against a team we turned over a few weeks ago, it's on a Tuesday night (and night games are rare for us these days), we're very successful at home, and it's £10 in.

I agree the pricing is excellent but for those who have to travel, it's still just a Burnley XI v Sunderland reserves on a Tuesday night.

I'll jump on the bandwagon if we make it to the 6th round.

I'm going because I like cup games, but it involves a bit of travel, some frantic rearranging of various family stuff and a shed load of extra work I'll have to do tomorrow.

I can see why people might not bother

I know of 3 people who work away from Burnley. So don't get home until 18:00/18:30 so haven't had the chance to get tickets.

Will still possibly go on, but only possibly depending on arrival home and size of any queues at the ticket office.

You will not satisfy everyone with ticket options.

But like a poster pointed out above, although pricing us good, the rush round after work, then the queuing up to get a ticket, to then do so again to get in at the turnstile, before having to unzip my coat to get to my wallet out, to get my ticket out several times before reaching my seat is a bit of a pain for a nothing cup tie, on a cold Tuesday night with very little atmosphere and I'm not feeling 100%

Not ticking to many boxes for me personally.

Oh for the good old days, turn up, pay your admittance, go in

Waited most of last week for tickets to go on general sale, then that was delayed 24hrs. That meant they couldn't be sent out in the post meaning having to join the throngs collecting tickets tonight.

Sounds as though the club are not fussed in losing out on hundreds of fans, possibly thousands, not bothering with all the hoops you have to jump through to watch a game of football

Tickets went on sale last Tuesday and available to all - by Friday morning all unclaimed season ticket holder seats were released. But no delay in any sales.

I presumed that we'd have turnstiles like the etihad when those cards were introduced. Its abit daft to pass a card to a guy to scan and give it back to me. I no its doesn't take much time but doing that thousands of times most waste time compared to handy over a paper ticket from a season book.

Please ensure you keep this safe as this is now your season ticket to attend 2015/2016 League games here at Turf Moor, and will also be used in the future if you purchase cup matches or renew your season ticket for the 2016/2017 season..

Oh my god! Ring up, order ticket and it gets posted to your house free of charge. Get a grip people.

The reason for a low crowd is people aren't too bothered about the FA cup any more. Sad I know but I just can't get excited about it when we already play the top teams week in week out. Still going along, £10 is a bargain.

There was a delay in ST holders' seats becoming unreserved though, with it moving back to Friday morning. As your quoted poster says, that meant those tickets were then available for collection only, adding to the queues for either Saturday's game, or for Tuesday night. That's despite there still being Saturday's post, Monday's post and Tuesday's post for those tickets to be delivered by Royal Mail. Don't know why the club cut it off so early.

Just adds to the queues caused by the completely inflexible system the club has somehow created.

Why is this an issue/ Buy a ticket in advance and pick it up on the night. or get there early and buy one from the ticket office on the night.

"I can't pay on the turnstile - grrr what a pile of crap our club is". Grow up!

Don't make it mandatory.

Most if not all smartphones will have a capability for an app, if people don't want to use that or can't then they can get paper tickets or cards if they want.

Some people pay with Apple pay, some pay with their cards, some pay with cash - it's all about giving people more ways to pay

Bit late to be complaining really isn't it?
The system has been in place a couple of years now and the club has been stating ticket only since.
So why the last minute horror?

Spoke to the lad at ticket office earlier and he said they'd sold more than expected and was looking to be over the 10k mentioned on here the other day with the late rush expected.

Hope you are right. Just glad I've got mine in advance. I hope it doesn't take away from the noise in the CFS. I might move about if there's room!

We had 6 envelopes delivered on Saturday morning each containing 1 ticket.

Oh and dont get me started on the premium rate number for the ticket office lol

Why did all the tickets get ordered separately?
If you add friends and family members to any account, and order them on one account, then they will be delivered together, as mine have done for the last 10 years or so.

Because there was an issue with the system and his wasn't possible.

The club acknowledged this and it was sorted the following day however too later for some as there order "individually"
