Djokovic has been taken to a deciding set by Denis Istomin. :D C'mon Andy!

Only caught the final set but he looked very dispirited.
Heads not been right since Wimbledon.
Come on Andy.

Indeed. He's not been himself since he won the French Open.

There was an interview with Boris Becker just before Christmas saying he hardly trained since the French open last year. I think because of the birth of his child. Just shows how hard these guys work to get to the top.

Maybe worth a few quid on Murray winning all 4 slams.

If he'd have taken an anti-Istomin before the match he'd have been fine.

Dan Evans seems to be cramping up.
Rain has saved him, giving him a break.
Still two sets up.

Can't think of another, Ian.
Though will add they do give these honours a bit more freely than they used to do.
And sooner in their lives.

Johanna Konta is teaching Wozniaki a lesson right now. This woman might actually win the thing.

Don't really watch tennis as much as I used to but seems the Brits are doing quite well! I should start watching it again as it's been so long having a few consistent performers! Used to be "will a British woman get passed the 1st round at Wimbledon" or "will Henman finally get to a Wimbledon final"! It was pretty pap really when you come to think about it! So we should enjoy it while it's here!

Murray has a pretty good shot at doing something Federer did only once (Aussie Open 2007), Nadal did twice (French Open, 2008, 2010), and Djokovic has never achieved. Win a slam without dropping a set.

He wasn't far off doing it at Wimbledon last year. He won 6 of his 7 matches in straight sets, and the match in which he lost sets in he was 2-0 up.

It'll be tough. He'll have to get past either Federer or Nishikori on Tuesday in the QFs, probably either Wawrinka or Tsonga in the Semis and then probably one of Dimitrov, Raonic or Thiem in the final.

And by the way, Nadal's being put through the ringer right now by a player who will win slams in the future, Alexander Zverev.

Win the title here and he'll (Murray) only need the French to complete an incredible set including Olympics and Davis cup. Has any other player in history done that? I'm not even sure. And it's a realistic possibility!

Agree with that, Turtle.
Konte has a chance of actually winning this.
She destroyed the Dane.

Not sure if, or when, we've had a men's /woman's singles winner at one slam?

This is looking **** for Murray. If he loses this he'll be furious with how he lost that first set. Losing 4 games from 5-3 up.

I commented on Teamspeak to a mate that he keeps putting passing shots into the net, that he can't get one in play, and then next point he hit one of the best passing shots of the decade.

Overall though he was **** compared to his usual brilliance, and i think a lot of that was because Zverev took the game to him and played brilliantly himself. His little brother is one to watch out for too by the way. That kid is pure talent.

Yeah they mentioned on commentary about his brother. Like I said I don't watch enough tennis nowadays to offer a proper informed opinion but I said to the moosus he kept putting the "easy" passing shot straight in to the net and most were half way down it! His whole body language just looked wrong from when I started watching it (2nd set) even though he won the 2nd set! Best chance to win this tournament gone?

Dan Evans reminds me of either Murray or Henman, not sure which one it is, when they 1st started out. Good player but needs to work on his serve (11double faults) and constructing a point so hopefully he'll learn about that part of the game soon enough!

Don't read too much into that number of double faults from Evans against a player like Tsonga. Chances are Evans will have been pushing the boundaries of his serve more than he would against players where if he gets into rallies with he'll be an equal or favourite to win the point. Same with unforced errors, more gets made against better players because you're trying to get closer to the lines.
