Should receive a lengthy ban for that, doesn't matter how soft the push was.

In the week where refs warned they may go on strike because of assaults in grass roots football, Wenger does that.

The man has the class of Trump, the generosity of Scrooge and the eyesight of Stevie Wonder.

On the plus side, we have played 5 of the top 6 away and rattled 4 of them. We have stuffed most sides at home. Now we get the run away against the bottom sides and we can judge where we are after that as a team.

Only one manager came out with some credit today, unfortunately he was on the loosing side.
All I like about their style of play is discredited by his childish behavior

Wasn't really an 'assault' though was it?

Not saying what he did was right but the guy did appear to stand right in front of him and Wenger gave him a gentle 'get out of my face' push-having said that in today's climate of 'claim for everything, everything is someone else's fault', I'm guessing Mr Wenger can be expecting a letter from the' Injury Lawyers 4-U' anytime soon.

Well he's got a real problem (or should have) if the official said he did because the footage shows he certainly made some contact.

It' pretty simple in absolutely any sport you do not make any physical contact (aggressively motivated) no matter how minimal with an official. If you do you should be punished to the absolute maximum.

The fourth official shoved him first and so he just shoved him back. Quite innocuous. Anyway, I like Arsene Wenger.

I did a stadium tour of the Emirates earlier this month and sat in Mr Wingers seat. Can confirm that for a fantastic stadium you really can see nothing from his place - I'd blame the architects as it is clearly a design fault! I am surprised he hasn't been snapped up by Specsavers because what he does and doesn't see beggars belief.

This sums him up in a sentence. Just sees (or doesn't) whatever he thinks to suit him. No respect for him anymore. He gives us credit before the game then acts like a spoilt child after it. At least you know SD would never just blatantly lie like AW. Hope the FA throw the book at him.

It was probably to Wenger's specification. He had a hell of a lot of input into the stadium design, I think.

I really rate Wenger as a manager and I think he's been unfairly criticised by some spoilt Arsenal fans who probably only support their club from the sofa and only picked them because they like them on Fifa.

As a man though he is absolutely classless, on a level with Mourinho. To say he didn't see the incidents is baffling if that's what he said, and if he did actually say Barnes' wasn't a penalty then that is unbeliveable. He would argue black is white if it favoured his agenda. He's a prize w@nker is old Arsene.

My comment about him not seeing the incident was a joke referring to his push on the 4th official. I think this may not have been put across clearly and I'm ashamed and upset about that.

He's not even gracious in victory. He's complaining Barnes isn't a pen, that Koscielny is definitely a penalty (magically he's seen that one on tv) and he's not offside either. Oh and he doesn;t touch the 4th official.

Total and utter dickwad. they should throw the book at him but of course they wont

Busted flush of a Manager for a Club the size of Arsenal. They've been content to finish in the Top Four for years now. That has been their Achilles Heel. Sure, the money for the Champions'League is great, but there's no Glory whatsoever in a Club the size of Arsenal continually being the Bridesmaid.

He's also a complete cry-arse when he's not getting it his way. He always has been.

Great example for Wenger to set for his players and young supporters/players. Not sure if what he did has any precedents but a season ban would not be out of place. On top of the 3 pushes on the 4th official he refused to leave the playing area and go to the stands as required when sent off. Maybe a 3 point penalty might concentrate his mind !!!!

Been on it for quite some time.

Still irks me that he didn't see the Lafferty sending off in the cup years ago. I thought it was a very harsh decision as he our Kyle had the ball before his heavy touch resulted in his lunge...which bounced off the top of the ball onto the Arsenal player.

Somebody mentioned that the 4th official pushed him. I didn't see that. 'Guiding' doesn't constitute a push either.

I suppose that most of the brexiteers on this thread would prefer him to be repatriated - well that's the general long term ideal isn't it - but I think that he's a credit to his profession. I always hated Arsenal until he came along, a constantly dull and dreary team. The first thing he did on arriving was to get rid of Paul Merson. This was followed by a succession of extremely astute signings over a period of many years turning the team into a most attractive outfit. He probably would have won the title on many more occasions had it not been for the fact that so many of his players would, at their peak, take the option of doubling their money by shooting off to Manchester City or elsewhere to double their pay packets, a problem that he is still having to contend with now.

Leave him alone. He's a good bloke. He may whinge a little but who can blame him with what he has to put up with.

Last season should have been a cakewalk for them to win the league, but he showed he no longer has the skills to acquire another league title.

Which will be his legacy.

The man who just couldn't win it with his resources for so long. In effect, since the defence that was gifted to him fell to pieces through age etc.

Not the worst chap in the world. Certainly prefer him to the Portuguese in Manchester but: when things don't go his way he whinges; when he does get the rub of the green he conveniently didn't see it.

Wengernomics has been very successful in a way, I'll credit him with that.

I'm NOT arguing with you Steve, its true that he can be classless.

But he's also very capable of being very classy, just like Jose, SAF etc etc etc.

Quick edit, as I meant to say I'm not arguing with you!
