Messageboard running slowly?

Last week or so it's been taking me up to 20 seconds to refresh and a while to look in posts and just seems generally to be running slowly but only on this messageboard as other sites are fine.

I've run Maiwarebytes scan twice now and it tells me no virus

Anyone else got or had same issues?

Bump because it's almost as bad as ClaretsMad ever was. I've been prompted to 'kill' or 'wait' by Chrome on every single thread/link I've clicked. Needs sorting. Dissuades me from using the forum, and more importantly, I assume, dissuades many others.

Has already been discussed and DiBraido has responded. It's not running slowly but a problem with the adverts loading.

Same here been running slow for 10 days or so, on a Mac.

Just looked at mb on mobile, then switched to laptop. Laptop was missing a post I'd already read on mobile.

Slow to update, slow to post.

However, this one was quick - and appears on both mobile and laptop at same time.

If anyone is having an issue can they please give me the following information:

The type of device you are using: ipad/iphone/android/pc/mac etc.
The browser:
The style: mobile or desktop

This will really help to identify what the issue might be.

We did have a problem with the switchads last week because they updated the code on their site and we were still on the old code, I've resolved this since and will try and make sure that it doesn't happen again.

I know this is probably of no help but I've had no problems whatsoever and I'm on hp slate 17 tablet and use chrome. Just so you can maybe rule a few things out.

There was a thread about a week ago on which a few users (incl me) explained a problem re ads loading. (Not all ads but animated ads chiefly eg the Expedia ad). I'm using Chrome browser on a decent spec newish PC with fast broadband and there are short (second or two) freezes whilst some top/bottom ad banners load.
After the thread last week ran a few days, it was still happening to me so I Adblocked this domain (usually I exempt a few sites that I want to support- including this one). I've just turned off adblock and the problem persists.
As stated- not all ads involved but mainly the animated ones. Freezes are fairly brief but (especially if both top & bottom banners are delayed) can be annoying enough to take off the Adblock exemption.

I'm on a decent PC. My browser is Firefox. I'm on desktop.

I had the same problem last week on Chrome but has been fine for me this morning

It all depends on the 'ad selected' when the page load's. If it happens to be the 'Expedia > Dubai' one, I see a delay, anywhere from 3 to 8 seconds.

That's using Chrome, on a ~25Mb/s.
