Todays Game

Post by warksclaret » Sun Jan 22, 2017 9:20 pm

From what I saw on TV that has to be one of our best away performances with several outstanding individual ones. We are definitely getting better-the frustration being we give the ball away so easily, In hindsight would have liked to have seen Joey start today

One positive from today-we have played 9 of the current top 11 away teams (Liverpool and Everton are the two). Even if we could get 4 points on our travels and 8 more points at home then if our goal average does not worsen we could be safe

Our front two in particular couldn't get the ball to stick as often as they would have liked or expected. That's how it goes sometimes and they were unable to hold it up for others to join in and there were other occasions when Barnes dropped back to help out and Gray became too isolated but a definite, continued improvement. Away wins to follow.
