Linesmsn today

Post by Longsider » Sun Jan 22, 2017 10:58 pm

What were the names of the ones today and which one had a shocker. Just found out I know one of them and really hoping it is not the one who missed the offside.

The one that missed the offside (and the trip by Gray) was called Halliday I think

Thank God for that. Marc Perry is the other. He is a really sound bloke who I do some work with in his day job. It would have made our next meeting a bit tense if he had missed that offside.

They did their best. Koscielny was 2 foot offside, don't think he missed it on purpose

The assistant who was involved in the send off 'missed' the offside at the end. He had had 30+ minutes of abuse along that touchline which may have intimidated him - suspect that that is what SD's comments about 'coming to places like these' were referring to. Does not excuse sheer incompetence but may explain it.
