SA and JBG both out with hamstrings (don't know when due back and given its JBG's second, similar injury we will have to make sure he is right before bringing him back again)
Marney looking likely to be out, given he was stretchered off, and Barton likely to face a reasonable ban at the end of the month
With some major away games in Feb/March, I really hope our Chairman and Recruitment team have identified a number of possible replacements to get in over the next 9 days - can't see Brady alone being enough even if it goes through
The Chairman was fairly vocal about targets/dealings in the summer but it's all very quiet this month

Surely the board have an idea on the punishment Barton is likely to receive? I don't think we'd have signed him if he is likely to get a lengthy ban.

Barton only has to have replied to the charge by the end of the month. He can then request a personal hearing which will take time to set up. So it's probably not true that we'll lose Barton from 31st, likely to be a couple of weeks later at least.

At present we are fine SD has a sizeable squad now he has to make use of them, a test of his ability as a manager.
