Re: Liverpool three defeats in 8 days
It's 420 days - 3 home defeats this season. On 5th December 2015 we lost against Preston 2-0.Clarettintedlense wrote:Burnley 3 defeats at home in over 450 days.
Prior to the Preston defeat, the last time we lost at home was against Reading on 26th September 2015. So that makes it just 4 home defeats in 490 days.
Prior to the Reading defeat, the last time we lost at home was against Leicester on 25th April 2015. So that makes it just 5 home defeats in 644 days.
Not bad eh?

I wonder how that compares to all the other team's home stats? Someone out there will know...

Klopp's record with Liverpool is identical to Van Gaal's at Man Utd apparently.

Jurgen Klopp - having spent a stupendous amount of money has now presided over Liverpool's worst run of games for 23 years - seems bullet proof to criticism and remains popular - it's beyond me

Bring back Dalglish.
Re: Liverpool three defeats in 8 days
He also gave them their worst season for 20 years last season.SalisburyClaret wrote:Jurgen Klopp - having spent a stupendous amount of money has now presided over Liverpool's worst run of games for 23 years - seems bullet proof to criticism and remains popular - it's beyond me
But he sometimes says funny things in interviews and jumps up and down on the touchline a lot while pulling faces.

Re: Liverpool three defeats in 8 days
There was one particular caller on five live who wanted him sacked for various reasons, one was that klopp was too scruffy.
He was the caller who just talked over the presenters, a humourless and stupid fan.

Liverpool fans are a constant source of amusement to me. Their delusions of grandeur are matched only by Spurs, and possibly West Ham, fans.

It's worth remembering that up until about a month ago Klopp had Liverpool playing some fantastic football and looking like title contenders. Football fans are fickle.

Don't forget Newcastle and Leeds. Also, if the lads put their mind to it, I reckon we can double Liverpool. They certainly won't be looking forward to seeing us again.Lord Beamish wrote:Liverpool fans are a constant source of amusement to me. As we have avoided defeat today, and with no home league game until 1st April, we will make it just 5 home defeats in 705 days.Sean Dyche's Watch wrote:It's 420 days - 3 home defeats this season. On 5th December 2015 we lost against Preston 2-0.
