How would SD have dealt with the the likes of Bikey?

Post by RalphCoatesComb » Sun Jan 29, 2017 2:35 pm

Allegedly, turned up late for training and appeared to do what HE wanted.

Would he have got into a Sean Dyche team?

Some players seem to believe that they have a right to be on the teamsheet without putting in the effort. Can't see that happening with SD at the helm. As stated on a thread from a couple of weeks ago... "Wimps need not apply" !

With him being right footed he'd have played him on the left wing.

SD would never have bought a player like that, of course.

When I did a ground tour, in the physio's office the whiteboard had a list of fines for turning up late and Bikey had a stack of them going into thousands.

Funnily enough, the main thing I remember about Bikey is the "mad do"
he had on the Turf playing for Reading in the first leg of the play off semi.
Stamped on Robbie Blake and ripped his shirt off , got sent off.

Well funny.

Either a rock bottom.

Or a spinebuster followed by the people's elbow.

He would've given him the Dyche stare and then dared him to try his luck.

Or just sold him

Surely he would've used his proper finisher?

Firstly he would never have signed him and had he inherited him I don't think he would have lasted long.

I shudder at his last appearance for Burnley in the FA Cup at Norwich back in 2012 - the big surprise was that he actually stayed on the pitch for 75 minutes. He was capable of an outstanding performance but far too often he was anything but that.

I think SD would have literally stuck Andre's head up his arse.

Football is full of players that managers think they can get the best out of but very rarely do.

Adebayor was getting paid by three different clubs at one time who all thought they could sort him out.

Just realised, I've got my stories of black french speaking defenders mixed up. :o Was it Arthur Gnohere who told Stan that he'd played badly because his head was up his arse? It's a French expression. Bikey could have used it on numerous occasions.
