I'm not quite as bad as that but there's a bit of excitement and nervousness in me plus with the game tonight I'm sure I'll have a mini meltdown at some point!

I'm quite sanguine about this. If we get someone in, I'll be happy, but I think we've got enough about us as we are to stay up and I don't want us to get bummed financially in January when better deals could be made in summer.

I heard a valid point this morning by West Ham's David Sullivan, who said that all the 'big clubs' who know what they're doing don't allow themselves to be dragged into the transfer deadline day panic and buy players at temporarily and grossly inflated prices. So, if we don't buy anyone today, then we should take heart in the realisation that, at last, we have become a big club!

I've got the day off today - rather unusual to have a midweek day off of work, but it means I can make the trip back to Burnley later this afternoon to go on this evenings game. However, with the amount of refreshing that I'm doing on my phone I think it would be much more relaxing to finish work at the normal time and see that all of these wonderful signings have already flooded in.
