Mr O'Connor on twitter reporting that both us and Sunderland failed to land him on loan.

Gutted really he'd have been a great addition.

Would have been a top signing.

If we stay up this season, who knows? If Brady is here, the solid Irish contingent we have might make a permanent move possible for him.

Not heard this one. would certainly be a surprise given we have secured westwood and that we weren't previously looking for a CM before Marney's injury.
