Hilarious thread, you absolute numpty.
That one moment of sunshine, to the point of thinking he needed to post a thread about it on here, stolen at the last by the dirty ones.
Cry into your stained photo of Tim Flowers as you stare into the abyss. Let me feast upon your tears.

Hardly a surprise under coyle, happens every week. My tears last flowed for rovers when Sam was potted, since then my feeling for the club has been very much 'meh'..

I think it would be quite apt in the circumstances, to really illustrate the 'changing of the guard' and as payback for 1992.Saxoman wrote:You could try to think of something a bit more original..
Without the (compared to League One) Championship pennies, and crowds falling to around the 6-7000 mark, with hardly any large away followings to make it less embarrassing. Surely you can see this all ahead of you, along with your crippling wage bill and huge debts? There will be no way back really. You are teetering on the precipice of oblivion.
The fact it would have been orchestrated by Owen Coyle is quite unbelievable.

Re: Bennett.!!!
Never said you should back the Venky's, but I would back the team in spite of their ownership. We have seen far, far worse at Turf Moor. I am 30 years old, born a few months prior to the Orient game and in my life I have seen steady progress bit by bit, but my first indoctrination to football was Fourth Division football. You will forgive me, and the rest of the football league having no sympathy for you having a rough patch.Saxoman wrote:The venkys you say I should back?
Rovers fans only criticise the fact that Venky's have overseen terrible on the pitch performance, but neglect to thank them for the millions and millions they have spent attempting to support their (admittedly ****) appointments. When you got relegated to the Championship you signed the likes of Jordan Rhodes for £8m on 40k a week, not to mention Etuhu, Murphy etc on unbelievable salaries to try and get an immediate promotion.
They put their hands in their pockets, it just hasn't worked out because the managers they appointed were appalling - it happens. You have no God given right to success, as you are now realising.

Re: Bennett.!!!

When Eddie sold the club, he 'wiped' the debt out, as it was mainly owed to him.Saxoman wrote:Bolton have almost twice the debt we do, nothing has been 'wiped out'..
It's rumoured he's inserted a clause though whereby IF Bolton make it back into the PL he gets a slice of the TV money each season.
So yes, Bolton had their debt to Eddie wiped out, that was common knowledge I assumed.
Use the internet and have a look for yourself.

Well said Jedi_master, the end is well and truly nigh. What the fe ck are they going to do with a 30,000 seater in the 3(tu)rd Division, seriously ? what are they going to do.
Complete oblivion, after so many gloating years, they really cannot believe what has happened, all of 'em, stumbling around shadsworth and mill hill, bumping into each other, mumbling incoherently about 'uncle jacks' legacy' and 'we want our roverrrrrs back'.
Well you are getting 'your roverrrrs back' - back to what it was before uncle jack popped up.
Absolutely amazing.

He can't do that, there is no counter argument.
The debt of £184.5 million was written off in full by Eddie Davies when the ownership of the club changed hands.
