The raos.
The raos.
If they were to appear in photos laughing wearing Burnley shirts, we still couldn't get them out. That is the reality of our situation and why boycott is the only option for true rovers fans.

No sympaphy, just fact. If we can't get them out, make sure they lose as much money as possible for what they have done/are doing.
Re: The raos.
You lot really are thick aren't you?
Make them lose money? They are plugging holes with hundreds of thousands of pounds a week to keep you afloat!
Would be funny if they were Clarets though. Would be the icing on the cake for most Burnley fans.
As we have told Owen Coyle for years - you reap what you sow.

Re: The raos.
The reality of the situation?
The clubs finances are knackered.
This summer they will improve when the remaining players out of contract are off loaded and the loanees are gone.
Then the club can start paying realistic wages appropriate to the incoming monies.
So I'd guess at about £4-5k a week per player, but even that might be too high, due to how cheap the season tickets are.

Re: The raos.
The baffling part is that the very people they want rid of, the Raos, have at the last count invested some £87 million into the club over the four years they have been there.
So my question to Saxo and his mates is......Where would the club be today without those loans of £87m ?

Re: The raos.
Saxoman- the facts. Your club second bottom of the Championship ,Owen Coyle as manager, CV includes relegation of Wigan and Ten years ahead Bolton. No players signed for money in the transfer window, fans told that signings not necessary for improvement.
Burnley- top half of Premier league, Sean Dyche as manager, the only manager to have tamed and brought out the best of Joey Barton-a man who could drop Nobbie Savage with his little finger. Around £40million of our OWN money spent on good quality home grown players. Hey, enjoy Hopeless Akpan, and stop masturbating over your hero Goodwillie.
God,I am so jealous Saxoman. please can we swap bodies.

Re: The raos.
Well, that's a bit poor Saxo.......I'll try again.
Just prior to the Raos arriving the Walker Trust kindly wrote off over £100million of debts.
And yet the club continued to spend way beyond its means in both transfer fees and wages, all subsidised by the Raos.
So give a decent answer this time.......Where would the club have been without the £87m inputted by the Raos?

Re: The raos.
Saxo most rovers fans wanted rid of big Sam, they'd got sick of the long ball, that was the probably the most costly thing you did. You failed to realise that you were a club in decline and jumped at the chance for some foreign investment. The fans couldn't wait to rub it into poor old Burnley that they'd been linked with Ronaldinho. What you dimwits didn't realise is that while you frittered cash you didn't have, with no concern for your future, we took the slightly longer route and kept our future well in sight.
Which one worked better?
The sad thing is that while I hate to see any club go into serious decline you'd have some sympathy if you'd been up in arms when the Venkys took over. In fact, you only had a problem when things didn't go the way you lot had envisaged. Not saying this all relates to you personally Saxo, but for the majority of rovers fans, it's pretty spot on.

Saxoman. I refer you to Blackburn. Please stop briefly at GO, collect £25 and buy 3 players. Then please Coyle off into the relegation sunset and make contact again when you want us to shake a bucket to help you survive the north west counties 4th division. Once again, I am inviting you to my Rovers Relegation Party, Clitheroe , I will buy your drinks all night and laugh in your blue and white face , whilst you dribble over over a horse...........sorry,a horse toothed Scottish manager ,oops.ex manager. Stevie Kean, where are you..

Re: The raos.
The best thing is that the fans probably got the team relegated in 2012, they had enough to avoid the drop even though the results on the pitch had been below par for a while.Saxoman wrote:Without the raos we'd be in the premier league obviously..
The fans decided they were going to remove the manager and owners by protesting before during and after games, this seemed a logical plan except the owner weren't budging and Ewood became so toxic the team were at a massive disadvantage, the fan running down the front of the Jack Walker Stand vs Bolton that season to shout abuse in Kean's face summed it up, the fans had lost the plot and put their club's Premier League status in jeopardy in order to continue with the pointless protest, they got ultimately what they deserved, as they put the protest before the team and have never recovered since.
EDIT
Just look at the report from the game i mentioned vs Bolton

Kean is 'very gifted'
