Another list of annoying things.

Post by bfcjg » Fri Feb 10, 2017 5:15 pm

Come on grumpies we haven't had one for a few weeks which in itself is annoying :o
The adverts for The Nationwide building society are stupid condescending and highlight that they cannot brag about interest rates as they give F all. Smug Rsoles reciting poetry smirking and walking away "I have a house you proberbly ain't I off to the shops to buy me some paint " grrrr
Also car parking spaces at the front of super markets reserved because you have kids !!!!and we wonder why so many of them are obese what next escalator to the pop and toffee aisles so the lazy buggers don't even have to walk.
Members of think tanks coming on the Tele telling us what to think. What the F is that all about don't the rest of us not think? and why a tank I actually think this when they are on "F off you pompous twohat I can think for myself thanks."
I feel better now :)

The Primary School headteacher writing 'have a lovely half term week off' on the school newsletter. She knows it drives us all mental but she does it every f**king school holiday.

(Read in continuous monotone)
'So I don't like students on quiz shows who say I am at Yewneeeeee and then proceed to answer nearly all the questions incorrectly and say they need the money for travelling when they go on a gap year instead of actually learning something meaningful'

I find it hard to believe they actually find their intended Country given most of them probably can't point it out on a globe

People who go the ATM, punch in their PIN, and then spend the next 90 seconds dithering and debating how much money they should withdraw. Get the **** on with it.

The issuing of "weather warnings" by the Met Office at every opportunity.

The BBC weather presenter(s) who starts the national forecast by claiming that "temperatures tonight could reach as low as minus ten" later qualifying it by stating that this is only likely to be recorded in the glens of Scotland.

People who say that they have "done" somewhere when they have been on holiday or been to a venue. "Yes, we did Florida last year". Someone said on here earlier this week that he hoped Newcastle went up because he had "never done St James' Park". Really winds me up.

People who put their shoes on the seats of public transport...you're not at home you scruffy ********.

People who buy popcorn at the cinema and proceed to munch it so loudly that you can no longer hear the ******* film.

People who use those extendible dog leads and end up cordoning off the whole ******* street.

People who use 'though' at the end of sentences for absolutely no reason. As in "That pizza was nice. Oh and that ******* sauce though."

People who get up at 6am on holiday to reserve a bloody sun lounger. You don't own it you ****.

Phew :)

The "Can I get" thing is a generational thing. Standard terminology these days for kids, especially when ordering a McD's! "Please may I have a Big Mac Meal" is a phrase that you just wouldn't hear :D

Down here if I see this on the trains, I go up to the (usually teenage) oik and ask very politely "Could you possibly tell me what that says please" and then point to the sticker next to the seat that says "Do not put your feet on the seats". I love the look on their stupid, gormless face when they think they're helping me and then realise they are being made to look like the idiots they are - that's if they can read, which many can't!
I then smugly give them the bird and walk away.

People moaning or complaining about things that really don't matter. Not having a pop at people on this thread because it's jovial, but I mean in real society.

Like when when you see refugees, war torn countries, starvation, children suffering from cancer etc - yet people get really angry over a mistake on an order in a coffee shop.

AKA First world / white people problems
