I think it is condescending to say anything other than what we would for a regular league game.

If I spot a Lincoln fan in our end I'll be shopping them to the stewards, no danger.

Burnley FC are the same as every other venue, sporting or otherwise, in that they have certain terms and conditions attached to the purchase of admission. The rules at Turf Moor are mainly driven by legislation or preventing the club being sued. The law of the land currently states that football clubs must take every reasonable measure to ensure the segregation of visiting supporters. The laws were enacted following the football violence and tragedies of the 70s and 80s alongside laws governing seating at stadia.

It is entirely possible that a visiting supporter, having gained entrance to the 'home supporters only' areas, could then sue the club should they receive any harassment or worse at the hands of BFC supporters. Not likely but possible.

Unless I have missed some posts no one has gone all BBB on this forum, we are guests. A lot of Burnley fans have chosen to look at Lincoln Forums where there is some posturing and yes maybe arrogance, if you don't want to see it don't look !!!

If you look at my early posts I asked for some info and had some nice chat with some of your fans. We all threw in a few cheeky fun comments but then some of your more sensitive fans who cannot accept a bit of banter from a fan of another team started getting more serious so I started taking the p*ss back a bit and having some fun

Had another quick count up of available seats for Saturday - BL 223, JML 1,222, JMU 1,356, JHL 843, JHU 491. Total of 4,135 available with 4 days still to go, so over 18,400 sold (assuming both teams sell their allocation in the CFS).

Since it is all about money at the end of the day, we will return home with our tails between our legs happy that the 16000 or so good fans of Burnley have contributed £5 (or nearly after expenses) each to Lincoln City. That £80,000 will be about a 10th of the playing budget so thanks to all.

Recently we've been praised as a club by the likes of Gabby Logan, Dan Walker and Trevor Sinclair to name a few for the welcoming nature. Maybe a few have acted irrationally though pent up frustration ( I know a few who go home and away but cannot afford the big lump of a season tickets so have maybe lost out on the chance.) but I don't believe that we are a nasty club abd I fail to see how I personally have been nasty. Also from your end your fans have been great giving me parking directions and I can't wait for the match to start

Oh god you'll be crying next, grow a pair. Think some people have taken umbridge at the fact that some Lincoln fans suddenly think they're a massive club who could fill our ground 3 times over. As always happens with football forums, some people get a bit giddy, some then respond with snide & childish comments and it all gets a bit play ground.

If we play like we have played this season then we will absolutely smash Lincoln, they know that, we know that. If we are off our game or start slowly then it'll be an interesting game, but we will still win. The sides we've named for our previous FA cup games would do well in the Championship, we are a different proposition to whatever has come before for Lincoln. I hope nobody does anything stupid and everyone comes to the game and enjoys it, it's another day in the spotlight for them, it's business as usual for us.

There was just short of 15k on against Brizzle who brought only a mini bus full of fans. Lincoln are bringing 3200 plus all the millions of illegal 'impigrants' in the home end.

Exactly. I gave TomImp the highly valuable advice that he should park his car in a quiet, safe area on the Stoops Estate and then walk to the ground. I think we've been most helpful and hospitable to our visitors from the countryside.

That is all fair and good except even when everyone knew the game was being screened live on BT the Lincoln Managing Director was whipping his supporters into an hysterical hissy fit because they felt we were doing them some kind of injustice.

If none of this nonsense had come to light we'd be commending Lincoln on their travelling support rather than dismissing it because of the calls for a 7,000 allocation.

The HOME support against Bristol City was 14,245 and i think we are somewhere near that level already, with a few days to go and sales on the day from the ticket office will see 15,000+ and a crowd around 19,000 like you said.
