The First and The Last
We were the first club in the modern era from the top division to lose at home to a non-league club in the FA Cup (Wimbledon). Now, we've been the last. Does this make us famous?

No we didn't
It was fake news. We've got Arsenal in the next round.

Re: The First and The Last
By the time Arsenal finish that match they will wish it was us - just watch them roll around after those challenges - watch all those southerners go berserk about elbows, digs in the ribs, reckless late tackles and holding - can't think of a team I want Lincoln to beat more - it would be hilarious

Well, we're consistent. And the first time didn't cause the sky to fall on us. Unless it was the start of our decline to near extinction. Oh God!

Re: The First and The Last
At least losing to Lincon means we won't go out of the cup to an offside goal, put in with a hand in the 19th minute of 11 minutes of added time.....

What it is Good Luck! In the season we lost to Wimbledon we stayed in the top league!
Re: The First and The Last
So few top clubs are able to lose at home to non-league sides. Birmingham did it, but they were absolute rubbish that season. Wheras we proved that it was clearly no fluke - it's twice in our last five seasons at the top that we've gone out of the Cup at home to a non-league side. No other team comes close to matching that.

Re: The First and The Last
IF the Wimbledon defeat was the start of our decline their is a massive difference this time. Our slide through the divisions in the 80s was unprecedented in Burnley FCs history. This time I'd like to think their is enough of us around who lived through it too make sure it doesn't happen again!!!
