Stan Collymore
No time for this bloke even more so when he writes in his column in the Mirror that "No Premier League side should ever lose at home to a fifth-tier club" even taking into account of the magic of the cup. Is he right to criticise top league players who are "not as good as they think they are" ? ....maybe and there are a few on this message board that would agree, but I doubt that he was at the match to have an informed opinion.
Moving on, will there be a positive response at Hull, will the players selected put in that extra bit of effort to make amends for Saturday?

Re: Stan Collymore
The guy never ever put in the effort he could have as a player due to mental health demons, but still was a better player than Burnley will ever have..

I fear Saturday will go one of two ways. Hopefully we see a response and grind out a draw or win, or its the start of a mini collapse. Lets prayer for the former

I can chuckle at you now and again, Saxoman, but that's a very poor effort.Saxoman wrote:The guy never ever put in the effort he could have as a player due to mental health demons, but still was a better player than Burnley will ever have..

I'm not joking. Not far behind Alan shearer as a forward for me.minnieclaret wrote:I can chuckle at you now and again, Saxoman, but that's a very poor effort.

No, hang on, this is Talksport we're talking about.
Re: Stan Collymore
The sun took ownership of talksport and Stan quit on principal as a proud former Liverpool player.

Playing devil's advocate, I agree with a lot of his comments on various footballing topics.

Thanks Saxoman that makes sense I know Colin Murray quit for that reason, does Murdoch still own The Sun and does Murdoch still pull the strings at Sky and if so does the same boycott apply to Sky as it does to The Sun ?
Re: Stan Collymore
Don't know about that. I'd be surprised if Jamie redknapp would work for the sun though.LordBob wrote:Thanks Saxoman that makes sense I know Colin Murray quit for that reason, does Murdoch still own The Sun and does Murdoch still pull the strings at Sky and if so does the same boycott apply to Sky as it does to The Sun ?

He left Talksport because they didn't renew his contract.

I'm a dickhead and have excuse after excuse.
The normal people just don't understand why mental people keep attacking them.
Oh my goodness, why is this chap attacking me with a knife?
He's poorly! Just take it and be quiet.

I truly don't care being honest.

Shame Collymore wasn't playing. We wouldn't have been nilled. He scored for us when we played Stafford, remember?

Re: Stan Collymore
Woman beating pity seeker stan was let go by talksport, nothing to do with his feelings towards the Sun this was shown by his begging to be given another contract. Mick Quinn is another who can ignore the past if it puts a few quid in his pocket.
As for the arseholes opinion when you punch women and seem ok with it your opinion becomes void.

Saxo should have a drink, his posts of the CIA following him around supermarkets and his kidnapping were very entertaining, especially as during his kidnapping and being held against his will they gave him internet access to claretsmad.

I agree. Although we've got 4 consecutive away games now, and if we lose them all, it wouldn't be a collapse as such, just a continuation of our form all season.warksclaret wrote:I fear Saturday will go one of two ways. Re: Stan Collymore
Seems weird that we cut Barton loads of slack for things he's done in the past, but not Collymore.
Very good broadcaster, his podcasts are excellent and his stuff he's doing with app are very good.
Not listening to it this week as he's probably talking about us v Lincoln!

Collymore was incredible in his time at Forest, not far behind Shearer. Unfortunately he's mad as a box of frogs, still seems to have some issues today.
Like any pundit, if he says enough stuff he'll be right sometimes.

Slightly sh@tting it to be honest..
Mind you my legs were going 9 points or so clear of Derby, and with a better goal difference, with 5 games to go.
