This is the inevitable result of hypocrisies like the "feminist government" of Sweden, the stupid and incoherent international "anti-Trump" movement, the refusal to acknowledge people do not want mass immigration etc etc...

When you polarize politics and shut down debate with accusations ('racist!', 'sexist!', 'homophobe!' etc etc) you simply create a space at the opposite end of the pole for populists. The rise of right-wing populism is the direct result of establishment left-wing figures throughout the globe stigmatizing widely-held and sensible opinions.
