As a Rovers fan, frequenting this board it really makes me laugh reading the constant drivel posted by so called Burnley fans on here.

Last week you draw with Chelsea and act like you have won the league, criticise Chelsea fans and their online response and accuse them of being spoilt brats. Similar with Middlesbrough, Brighton and even Sunderland.

6 days later and the reaction is the equvielent if not worse from your own posters on this board. The dramatic, knee jerk reaction is laughable. I hope you get beat off Hull, not just because I am a Rovers fan but also to see the response on here. It will be worth the registration alone!

Today Coyle, one of your best managers of all time, the one responsible for starting the journey of where you are today is potted by us. Your fans are so obsessed with your more succesful, more illustrious neighbours that even in your best season for 40 plus years you still cant compliment your own team and are still focussed on your bigger rivals.

We are struggling at the minute, no doubt. But we havent and never will reach the depths you have. We will never be in Division four. We will possibly and with the right manager probably stay up this year. Then push on back to where we belong.

Our game with United Sunday showed the passion which our town still has for our great club and shows the potential. The turnout from Uniteds fans shows what they still think of us - they still know we are a huge draw. Big rivals even. With the right appointment we will be right back up there. We have a fantastic academy, great facilities and are a much bigger draw than Burnley when all things are equal.

You have never won The Premier League and never will - that must kill you.

The only reason you can be certain Rovers won't end up in Div 4 is because there isn't one any more. I would never be so arrogant as to post the assumption that my team will never, ever end up scraping the bottom of the barrel at some point. It can and does happen to anyone and everyone (Portsmouth?) Rovers are in a very precarious position to me where relegation could mean a serious spiraling downwards of lots of things at the club, including for example the much lauded youth set up which would struggle to attract the talent. Ok, it MIGHT not happen and there may be a recovery from their present plight, but if I was the op I'd be very careful as nothing in football is ever certain and years (and years) in the wilderness could be just around the corner.

History counts for nothing in football its now and the future what really matters. Rovers present and future looks grim and uncertain.

I can see Rovers now entering a period were they will be playing lower league football for a similar period as we did back in the 80s and 90s
