Some strange decisions from a good ref. Not helped by his linesmen. Definitely a red card. Couldnt see the penalty shout.

A very good display. Stayed calm and in control throughout and did not flash cards unnecessarily which helped the game flow.

Almost every decision today he got right, including the pen and the red.

Was decent, had Barnes sussed out early doors which was frustrating.
Thought that Boyd could have seen red and then Huddlestone for the retaliation. Also, we should have had a free kick when their manager tackled Brady.

Got the penalty wrong; it was a foul on Keane. Otherwise he was fine, Barnes got himself sent off.

Re: RATE THE REF - Martin Atkinson v Hull City
He was after Barnes from the first duel of the game.
Ash jumped clean for a header and McGuire just blocked him. Should have been an obstruction our way. Next minute Ash is directly behind McGuire who slows down to obstruct him. If the ball is in playing distance, fair dos but it wasn't. Another obstruction. This was when he called Ben Mee over to calm him down but I can understand why he was wound up. He didn't get a decision all day.

Say what you want about him for the rest of his performance but he got the Boyd "incident" bang on.
The silly jock on the commentary was calling for him to be sent off. For some reason he absolutely hated Burnley and I'm sure I've noticed him before.

Re: RATE THE REF - Martin Atkinson v Hull City
The boyd tackle wasnt even a foul never mind a red!
Missed a blatant kick from Huddlestone on Boyd AND Barton. Quite a few were wrong. Can see both sides on the penalty. The linesman especially on our side didnt help which meant he was effectively on his own.
Easily the best ref we have.
