Foxes Talk

Post by PaintYorkClaretnBlue » Sun Feb 26, 2017 11:23 pm

I never thought I'd read "thank feck for Burnley" on that message board when we scored yesterday, everyone else seems to have accepted that we're staying up, it's just us long suffering Clarets that haven't....yet!!

I always think that we should aim for 38. It's nice and simple, one point per game, and in the vast majority of seasons it keeps you up. The seasons it doesn't I think it's when the top 4 don't pulle away, meaning more points are shared at the bottom, but it's very infrequent.

I think we'll finish on over 40 anyway and be safe with a couple of games to spare.

Jobs far from done yet but avoiding defeat to Hull was huge.

40/1 to go down on paddy if anyone's still nervous.

The way the "big 6" have been eating up points, everybody else in the league (including bottom few) have lower points totals than usual.
As well as the current bottom three (Black cats, Tigers, Foxes), Boro and Bournemouth are really struggling for form, we'll have to collapse badly to let three of those 5 pass us (let alone, CP and Swans)
We should be aiming to get 40 at least but I think 35 will survive this season.
My bookie now has us 28/1; then 6/1 Cherries, 3/1 Swans, 15/8 Leic, 6/5 CP, Boro evens, Ull 10/11, Sunlan 1/6.
